its virtually IMPOSSIBLE for a tint done in 1 hour to have good workmanship
the rear mirror alone with demister alone would take 1.5-2 hour already..how can whole car done in 1 hour?..lol
those shop they did shortcut to make it faster actually
1. they never clean your window be4 they tint your windows...and dirty windows makes it not very long lasting
2. your windows will basically become a cutting board....instead of what most pro will do which is measure thn go cut the tint in their board be4 start tinting...these shop did shortcut by cutting a square piece of tint and cut it on the spot on your windows...thats why they did it so fast
and u will see a device that is somewhat looked like used to clean windows...they will use that to swipe the tint on your window so that the tint will stick on your window
and voila...they're done
they didn't even use the heatgun to slowly dry the tint be4 handing it back over to u
using heatgun to slowly dry the tint is very important...thats makes it problem-free for the years to come
my car i sent in at 8AM...i only get back my car at 3PM...it was suppose to be 2PM but he said the rear mirror got some trouble..so extra 1 hour

extra...somemore i saw another joke which is they install the tint outside(outside of the car), not inside which i was like WTF
*
Last time i went to this accessories shop to install my radio, its like in 30minutes, he done 3 windows and he just cut the tinting along the window and next stick it.. the heat gun, only used awhile... Im like so surprise he can finish it so fast

mod done today :

tinted
central brake lock
change number plate

as fo mine i did at normal accesories shop in pandan jaya. my fren scold me not to do it at not the proper tint shop. say must do in aircond and room an etc. but as long the workmanship is goos im fine with it.

im also regular with that shop at least 2 years.

they did my tinted for 2 hour. put another layer. he claim 70%. looks dark. hahaha. touch wood jpj dont kacau.

as for central brake locking i really need it. even the viva also got, saga flx se tak bagi pula. aiyaaa proton.

the number plate i change to crystal type. and i remove the casing "2011 best car selling".

now looks macho but still still maintain not ah beng style. hahaha

i forgot to hunt for arm rest just now. reach home than only realise sad.gif

Have both KNN & SIMOTA. Wash them every month, anyone time got replacement laugh.gif

Both lag in response, KNN faster dirty than Simota. Decided not use oil ady after learnt the oil may clog up the O2 sensor. Rinsed filter into detergent to remove oil(void life time warranty for KNN).

Overall, didn't feel much improvement at all. Placebo effect does a lot, suction sound, better mid range torque, everything is on butt dyno for the time being.

Simota 130
KNN 230
*
Ohh... LIke that i feel simota more worth it then ^^

BTW, what is placebo effect?

yeap, it's around RM65 if i not mistaken, but not more than RM70 (inclusive installation)...
this OEM brake lock has been modded with double signal blink when door open...
this guy were so nice and friendly, he even say it won't void our alarm warranty because he didn't cut or hot wire.
he use another method where, the loop that wire into the brake light module and it's still working as long the module got respond from braking.

this guy work at Cheras (not sure where was it) but last time i meet him at his housing area (Bandar Tasik Permaisuri), and it was drizzling rain, but he still install it for me outside his house, that was at night time after he got back from work.

can send me the contact, i wanna have that too for my car...
