Hi,
Is this still applicable until today?
Sample Maxis Username : 12345@home.maxis.com.my (Private IP) Password : 123451 (Always + number 1 to the back of your username)
Just got my Maxis Home Fibre installed but with this router (Technicolor TG389ac) I can't get my TP-Link TL-WDR4300 which hosted my cctv cameras to connect.

QUOTE(Angrybirds88 @ Jul 22 2017, 04:46 PM) Done install dlink DSL-G2452DG with built in VOIP MAXIS FIBER. Hi, I just bought this router too but somehow I can't get it to work. I used the quick setup and am very sure that my password is correct (username + 1) but can't get connection. Can you guide me how to get it working. I've created another thread on this but no answer yet. Tq in advance.

QUOTE(bakaq @ Dec 14 2017, 07:50 PM) Hi, I've bought and installed same DSL-G2452DG and got the internet working but been struggling to get the VOIP part functioning since 9th Dec.. Care to share the configuration for the VOIP part please. Thanks. Did you managed to get the internet working just by doing the quick setup or did you have to tweak something else? Care to share the settings?

Thanks to everybody, I managed to get my DSL-D2452DG working at last, both internet and VOIP. Bakaq, try unchecking all the ticks under Bound Ports, both the LAN and SSID. I didn't check any and it works. QUOTE(bakaq @ Dec 14 2017, 11:04 PM) I used this configuration and works for Internet, hope it resolves your internet connectivity too. Ensure: 1. Connect LAN2 of TM Modem to D-Link WAN port. 2. You verify you username/pswd with Maxis first (if the attached info not working for you) [attachmentid=9431804]

Thanks all, with you guys' help... I managed to get both the internet and VoiP running last night. Several things I learn :-
1. The quick setup offered by the router sucks, it won't works. 2. The default mode is PTM and it has 3 in-built settings based on this mode... VDSL_1_1, VDSL_2_1 & VDSL_3_1. We need to create a new connection based on ETH. Make sure you choose INTERNET&VOIP setting and not just INTERNET, otherwise your VOIP won't work. 3. Even when the above new setting is created, everytime I pressed "save", the router default back to VDSL_1_1. So I need to delete the 3 VDSL settings above to be able to use the newly created ETH setting I've created.
I will add more tips if required. So far, it's working fine and I can keep Maxis's Technicolor router in the closet.

QUOTE(abhipraaya @ Dec 28 2017, 02:17 AM) So, can we use the "Quick setup" method to easily configure this router for VoIP and internet and get rid the maxis router or are additional configuration steps needed? How much this router cost and how is the WiFi coverage? Thanks mate Quick setup doesn't work for me. I bought it for RM268.20 from lazada. It has 2 x 9db antennae so the coverage is much better.
