Honestly, bro, if you want my opinion, RM300 is not enough. If you want good proper QOS management, you have to invest in an Asus router and they don’t come cheap. You are buying for quality.

The cheapest you can do is the Asus RT-AC1300UHP. The next router up is either the Asus RT-AC68U, or the best router out there now, the Asus RT-AC86U.

Yes, they are really expensive, but you have to ask yourself if you are using the Internet everyday, and since there are 14 people in the house, and you might have guests as well, I would really recommend you go get the best router out there. It is your choice. It is really the best investment.

Yes, as I say, you need the Maxis PPPoE username and password. You sure you are not using phone or IPTV right? If you are, then you can’t change router. That is the reason why I dislike Maxis and change to Unifi, as their router sucks and I can’t change unless I do some advanced configuration.
