QUOTE(skullo @ Jul 10 2012, 09:13 AM) what do you mean by VPN client, can you give an example? VPN Client = software you use to connect to your office VPN... brands like Cisco, Nortel, Checkpoint, Juniper, ...anyway, the VPN software is internal software. so can't exactly tell what VPN client i checked from the system log, these terms are there IPSec, ESP, SHA1, DES3 lol hope information makes sense |

Step 3 is slightly incorrect, right ?
Step 2b should be REMOVE ptm.621 first, only proceed to add NEW ptm.621 as per Step 3 |

Is the following true ?
The Huawei HG665a has VLAN tagged for 621 for Internet (Maxis Home Fibre) on Port #2. Thus we need a wireless router which is able to connect via a VLAN, right ? This post has been edited by ronnie: Aug 17 2012, 12:54 PM |

QUOTE(rootlinux @ Aug 17 2012, 01:49 PM) Get Mikrotik RB751G-2HnD or RB751U-2HnD and thats stock firmware out-of-the-box working with configuration applied. No free lunch. These Mikrotik ain't cheap.... Read from klseet's website that TP-Link's W8960N is able to handle UniFi. I wonder if it works for Maxis Home Fibre (50% cheaper than Mikrotik)I haven't try Mikrotik with Maxis but RB751U-2HnD works for my UniFi. I guess you need to do some hacking/configuration to get the phone feature work in your Thomson. |
