Hello Sifus~
Just wanna ask,I bought a TP Link TL-WR841ND Ver 8.2

And if I do follow the klseet's guide I should be able to get my router to access the internet (have not done yet)

But I wont be able to get VoIP~ sad.gif

Is there a way for me to do what the TS did with his Huawei to my Fiberhome modem? I don't know how to access Fiberhome's software(tried some gateways like 192.168.1.1 and so on but with no luck)

Maybe I could change port 3 of the fiberhome to be similiar to what TS did?
Or is there no workaraound? sad.gif

Hi everyone, I don't know whether it was posted here before but I did not see it after browsing abt 8 pages..

I have maxis fibre internet, and yes the connection to flying spaghetti monster is absolutely horrible..
Sometimes it routes to Hong Kong sometimes to USA.. my ping is only stable at 80+ around 12.15am..
I also have astro hooked up to maxis, its the astro IPTV package.

I was planning on changing my router to TP-LINK TL-WDR3600, as i have a few dual band capable devices and would like more range than the router that was given by maxis ( Technicolor TG784n v3 )
(EDIT: TL-WDR3600 also supports maxis fibre but I am unsure about the IPTV)
Was heading out to buy it when I remember coming to this thread before, and was wondering whether astro needs it to be the technicolor router?(bindings or something) Or does it just need internet thru LAN?
I want to buy the router but I also want to have astro sad.gif

Any clue guys? Love the help you can give to me smile.gif

hey guys..ant recommendation on a router for me to replace my thomson? lookinh for inexpensive ones but will get th3 job done. I saw at a comouter shop they were selling asus and tplink routers and they do have the sticker that says "supports unifi/maxis" and yeah they did release a firmeare supoirting these ISPs..

but my main concern is that I do have astro iptv packaged with maxis..it sucks but I have it. So which router is able to do both internet and iptv in the easiest way possible? I dont use the voip so its fine. Prefreably asus.. they had one with two 9db antaenaes lolol

any help would be greatly appreciated!
