You can’t get into modem webpage. It is locked down by TM or Maxis in this case.

Unfortunately, you can't do that. You have to retain the Technicolor router as a bridge, but you can use a custom router for Maxis Internet.

DISCLAIMER: This is only on Asus RT-AC86U, dont know about other router

well actually, i did something simple and it works

from the picture, we can see that RT-AC86U 'supports' VoIP.

what i did was just connect a LAN cable to LAN3 port on my Asus router and connect to the WAN port on the Maxis router. The result is that i got VoIP from the Maxis router and internet from the AC86U, the rest are just disabling internet/wifi on the Maxis router and connect the phone jack to the router

That’s what I mean by using the Maxis router as a bridge lol. Thank you for illustrating the example though. Much appreciated.

I just bought the new archer AX50, I use the AX50 as the main router and using the same method connect my LAN4 to WAN on the maxis router.  Instead of getting a dial tone, I am getting an engage one on the DECT phone. Any idea you might share what causes this issue?
