Can suggest router below rm200 that can be used with maxis fiber? I dont need voip & iptv to be function

Look for TP Link TL-WR1043ND.
It is below 200 and support Maxis.

Replace maxis modem, but no VOIP function.

Depends on your TM modem model, you can transfer voip from maxis router to TM modem.

My old Maxis Router Thomson TG784n start working abnormal and connection keep on dropping and frequent restart require.

I contacted Maxis Helpline, said if WIFI router faulty can replace for free. Anyone experience free replacement even out of warranty.

Not sure how much I can trust them.

After complaining to Maxis, and trouble shoot session. Maxis technician come to change a new router.

Maxis service quite efficient these days

How old is your router? Probably they will study 1st and check the situation.

My old router was keep on disconnect for few times a day... keep on restart also useless

That is almost end of the router life spend with 24 hours on. You may try contact Maxis for the continue disconnection issue.

Hi all sifus, after using Maxis Fiber for almost 8 years, I think I have outlived the Thomson router and got a new sexy router. Unfortunately, when I connect the new router into the Huawei modem, it is not able to connect to the Internet. I have no choice but to connect the new router into the Thompson and have the Thompson connect to the Huawei. That way works. So, I disable the wifi in Thompson. It is not an elegant solution, in fact, it is kinda redundant. I don't need VOIP, just internet+wifi.. so how can I connect my router to Huawei and keep the Thompson in the closet for good?
