im a 1st time traveler to vietnam, i seldom travel out of msia. i wanna go there bcos it suits my budget, n recently, hoi an was listed in 'best small town' in the world..
i plan 2 go during cny, anybody can gimme suggestions on my itinary? i mean where 2 stay, where to visit, things 2 do n the ways 2 travel around?

You're going during Tet? Not really a good time if you want to travel on a budget. It's their major holiday there, many shops will be closed, prices will be 2-3x more expensive, and accommodation will be fully booked that time also. Better book everything in advance before going

gaeria, i just wanna leave msia during cny, i prefer green places like cameron. do u have any suggestion 4 me? is thailand also same cny with us? is it ok if thai?

CNY also holiday there, and is also peak season but not as big or as disruptive as songkran la.

Hi when is the best time travel to Danang? Is early Jan ok? I'm fine with hot sun but not rain as I'm beach person

I will be flying to Da nang this December 14 for 6 days 5 night trip, my itinerary:~

14 Arrive at Da Nang airport about 4.00pm, take cab straight to Hoi Ann
Evening: Wondering around the town
15 Morning: jogging and touring the town area, then private car to Hue
Afternoon Marble Mountain, Beach (will skip if not enough time), Hi Van pass, Elephant spring
Evening: Rest
16 Morning,Tour around Hue citadel by foot or renting bike
Afternoon: take train/bus to Da Nang
Evening: Dragon Bridge area
17 TBD
18 Ba Na Hills
19 Relax, tour around the town
3.00PM flight back to Msia

Ill be going Da Nang 5d4n on the 2018 CNY week.

Planned to spent 2D1N in 1 of the beaches in Da Nang, and the rest 4D3N in Hoi An.
Will be doing a day trip to Hue as well.

Any recommended place to go to in Hue? Mainly plan to visit the imperial palace there.

As for Hoi An, plan is to visit My Son, and chillax around the Ancient Town area. Still contemplating whether to go Bana Hills.

Ba Na hills so expensive, cheapest i found is USD50 per person for a day's trip. Wonder if it is worth it. Pictures shows very nice place.

I'm heading to Da Nang next week from 2nd-7th Nov, weather forecast rainy .. wanna ask if their usual rain is as bad as KL rain like super thunderstorm kind ?

U can use grabcar service if u want but be careful if normal taxi

I didn't like 'My Son" ....it was hot and humid and I'm not really into historical rocks and building.
