my some workshop guy gonna do this for me tomorrow. earlier posted was WhitE LighteR i think. i have posted the photo on how to install too at the same post i posted the runner. how long to order depend of where u stays and where seller stays. there's 3 type of runner there... big D where by to cover the door edge. small D to cover inside door smaller space and small hole in between and P is for botton of all the car door.

Added on June 17, 2012, 5:54 pm
yeap.. i bought it as i responded earlier when u posted it up. the rubber are soft... way softer than the preve original. softer mean better the seller claims.

it depend where u normally park your car... if 70% outdoor... mean around 3-5 years... if not always out door... can be more than 10 years.

Thx for the info bro...but broke already as spent too much on petrol to test my Preve sweat.gif

yesterday i was on the way home, then this sign came out while i was driving. icon_question.gif  I then took the photo when i stopped at a traffic light. I continue to drive till i reached home. Everything is as normal. The only thing is, whatever display I selected, it will shows out for 1 or 2 seconds, then this sign will appeared again.

This morning, everything is back to normal.

Anyone face this problem before?  hmm.gif

This is one of the problems that my car facing also, not every time happen but does happened quite often recently. Need to report to SC on next service.
Btw, Rich, I called COSE yesterday they said some of the spare parts not yet arrived. cry.gif

i didn't push the button, worry the engine will mati while driving, It does not make sense to ask me to push the button, cause the engine is already running.

so, maverickng, did you push the button while you are driving? what reaction do you get? no response?
*
I got tested press the button but not while driving. I stopped beside the road and pressed the button, the engine stop. Since then, whenever I see that sign appear after the engine already started, I just ignore it.

...200km daily...how to drive... your work place is so far away... jalan pahang can do things faster? COSE must take half day leave. 8.00am reach at least 12 only can get car if got complain. if not complain normal service can finish within an hour or 1.5 hours. time. Cose got lots of bay. but mechanic very limited...if all bays got 30 mechanic or more then will be no problem.
*
I guess if just normal service should be no problem la, but if OWV, helicopter sound when braking no sure they have expertise to handle or not.
My first 1k service was there, nice place got customer waiting room, got coffee, internet (use old town one hehe); just like a small size COSE. However, i mentioned to them that my car alignment run, they dun have machine & no spare parts for preve.

I found a site that provides the papago x8.5 but need to know following things at below in order to get the correct version of papago.
e.g.
Port: COM 1
Baud Rate: 4800
Protocol: NMEA

I had downloaded a exe file from the site provided to detect the port & baud rate but I have no idea on how to run the file on HU.

I can't really comment whether is the SC good or bad, they had given me a good impression for my 1st visit and very fast response to diagnose my car issue.

If not mistaken, Maluri Service Centre was earlier than Mutiara Service Centre, may be the mechanics there have much experience.
*
hmmm, but although they had found out few problems still you need to wait for the CAT team from COSE to come over to fix?? If is the case, why not just go to COSE direct?

Later they give me 2 choice, with Persona Test Drive Car, you will get back your car after 7 days. Without Persona Test Drive, we will get the experts to fixed it quick and return your car in 1-2 days.

Which option do you want?  tongue.gif

Who borrow u the Persona test drive car? Your SA or the SC?

I unders your feeling. Don't admit for repair until they had confirm your car probs. I also hope, after this coming repair appointment, my car had no HU & Roof top light blinking again.

If not mistaken, OWV probs may need few days to repair, but make sure only the parts had arrive then only send for repair.
*
Ya, I being told by CAT team to wait for the spare parts.
My HU also light blinking, what exactly causing this problem? I set the light & air-con to auto.

I dont even use any auto light/ i use manual light on and off but i still get blinking at the roof lamp & HU. Sent to service centre to diagnose, found BCM error in my car, they need to set my appointment with CAT.

How long does the CAT told you to get the part arrive?
*
The meow team never mentioned when the parts going to arrive. He just said the service advisor will call when the parts are ready.
Called few days ago, not ready. The SA never follow up the case, never call me to update anything, din give me a copy on what being fixed or still pending.
Called again to the COSE counter, the SA not around, still waiting for his feedback. vmad.gif

I also believe SC Maluri Kepong is better, and that they can solved my 'engine sign on' problem. Friendly too.  rclxms.gif

I just backed from setapak 3s SC, try my luck see whether they can fix the problems.
I mentioned to them that my car having the wind noise issue, engine over crank, HU flashing, brake pedal feel loosely & got sound.
Unfortunately, they just managed to adjust the brake pedal; the rest they said will report to HQ waiting for feedback. shakehead.gif
The alignment machine not even being installed yet. shocking.gif
I guess most of the SC are truely rely on the meow team, that's why getting problems solved like turtle.

Anyway, are you manage to get your OWV problem solved?

Tested high speed this early morning from kelana jaya to Air port Subang. Doing a 80km/h turning S shapre flyover from Sungai Way free trade zone pass thru nanyang shiang bow to federal highway whereby tailed by a waja taxi. apparently the waja slow down after the first turning. he cant catch up at second turning as i already 400m away from him. then immediate speed up from 80km/h turn in to the old air port road.... 160km/h before the new construction LRT site before Ara damansara... car still steady. but front passenger side got wind noise. need to see what coz the wind noise later.

overall other noise not appearing except the engine and the front wind noise. will look into that later.

and this was taken at subang airport @ 6:30am~ good morning :-)
