anyone facing problem joining sg server? i try to join today but keep on getting the message script restriction 39 , 40 and 90. is it something to do with hacking? but i didt play any hacking or what so ever. try to update and reinstall battle eye. cant solve it. any idea?

I got the same thing too, apparently BattlEye had an update and everyone is facing this same problem in the US DayZ forums. Can't do much, have to wait for BattlEye to fix the false detection.

I was on SG server with 1 other player.. thought of going to get better weapons and NVGs.. i had everything.. matches knifes hatchets water bottles medical supplies etc.....

And somehow in the whole 225 KM square map I meet him and got killed... THIS IS THE LAST TIME I'M MAKING FRIENDS..

I saw him first, but i only had a short gun, out of range.. so slowly crawled to him... then he saw me, lied down and changed server to change position then sniped me off with his .50 cal... I was still stoned if he was there or what... -.-''

i finished downloading arma 2 + arma 2 OA, but the controls are so weird. and inventory system is so confusing :S. anyone got a simple tutorial to install day z? thanks

i have a steam copy, does it make any difference?

just the directory and where u put the command parameter.

it's easier if you just use sixupdater, http://www.six-updater.net/

using the software is a bit confusing at 1st, but basically it's just 1. make a preset. 2. Download the mod using the preset 3. launch the game with the preset.

It's smart enough to detect steam or non steam version.

If you don't mind getting your well geared character killed and have to restart a new character all over again. Then go ahead and play it.

yes but its better if u buy the package deal, the original arma2 and operation spearpoint both for 30dolar

and no, there is no other source, you need a legit cdkey to create character.
