I got my blinds from TS as well, and he managed the installation for us well (quick, neat and hassle free). We are very satisified with the blinds! These were the cheapest we could find (and we have surveyed quite a few) and the quality isn't lacking either (much better than IK*A by far).

The only downside would be the master bedroom blinds, those 5 rather long pieces of blinds. If I crank up my ceiling fan, it will make my blinds sway, and knock against the wall, and it makes quite a bit of noise. But then again, this is just a design issue, nothing to do with the quality of the blinds or the installation.

Thanks for taking your time to come over in the weekends. Cheers and good luck!

I've just had my blinds installed by the TS.

Good service because before installing he brought the actual whole sunscreen (othes bring me small sample only) to give me an idea how it would look like. Any questions/concerns asked are answered well or given other good suggestions.

Installation was pleasant and I'm very happy overall, the price is good too  thumbup.gif

Just a note to the TS, the fabric that is a slight color of beige  - you should tell future customer that if rolled up it'll look quite orange! I would have chosen white if I knew  tongue.gif

Bought my blinds (almost whole house) from Philip. Good service and fast turnaround (~ 1 week to get all the custom made blinds ready). Installation was very professional and quick too.

And one point to note is that he and his installer are very punctual. smile.gif

Recommended seller!

I've to give a shoutout to Phillip for his excellent customer service..

Even after 1 year of installation of the blind, I've encountered a small issue on the roller.
I PM'ed him on this matter and in a matter of minutes, I've got a call from him.
He guided me through how-to on fixing it... and even offered to send one person over..

He definitely values his client highly

highly recommended seller!

gave me the most affordable price compared to other sellers, and was the very fast to respond to PM and arrive on site to measure & install

what impressed me the most was that he was very polite, respectful and professional all the way through. the product itself has good build quality for such a fair price.

i hope other lowyat sellers can be half as pleasant as tpleong! will happily recommend to all my friends, 10/10!

Hi. Can you please pm me the price of 3mm vinyl tile installation?

Also have a few questions

- Can the Vinyl tiles be installed on bare cement floor ?

- Noticed that some companies charge for self-levelling? What is it and is it compulsory?

- Besides the vinyl price installation, is there any other charges i.e. transportation (place in Kote Kemuning) etc?

Thanks

The price is RM4.80 psf including installation. Aluminium edging (if required) is RM5.00 per feet .

Also have a few questions

- Can the Vinyl tiles be installed on bare cement floor ?

YES, provided it is level.

- Noticed that some companies charge for self-levelling? What is it and is it compulsory?

If your floor is not level , then self leveling is recommended . Self levelling is very expensive .

We normally do skimming instead if it is not too bad as it is much cheaper. If it is just a little, we will do it FOC.
-

Besides the vinyl price installation, is there any other charges i.e. transportation (place in Kote Kemuning) etc?

NO

Thanks

Hi Phillip,

Do you have the 5 mm glueless interlocking system ? Considering changing it....

I have installed a 3 mm vinyl tiles on top of my existing 18 x 18 inch tiles. However due to my house was built on a ex mining land (YTL Lakefields) the moisture coming from the ground is quite high.

the vinyl tiles are coming off at area where there is high moisture. (not all are affected, only a few tiles, 5-6 tiles are affected) Are there any glue that can withstand moisture?, currently i am using those super strong epoxy that
seems to be holding the tiles in place...

Thanks,

Vincent Wee
*
Yes, I have . However, I have 2 color/design only.

Like others, we uses water based glue for easy mantainance and easy removing it in future. Hence, it could not withstand high moisture. However, we use other type of glue for wet area.

Since epoxy can do the job, just continue with it .

Cheers

Can you guys remove existing tiles / parquet and lay this down?
*
For tiles, you dont need to remove it . We will only skim it to level .

For parquet , that depends on whether it is level or not .

Removing it involve high cost. Firstly , you need to hack it (for tiles) . Then you need to cement it or use self levelling compund to level it . This is not cheap.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, what other type of glue for wet area would you recommend?

The epoxy (labelled as super strong or steel ) only come is a small tube, it is going to be very expensive to use epoxy to replace the affected area about 5-6 tiles.

Regards,

Vincent Wee

You need not apply the whole tiles. Just mainly on the edges .

Water prove ka boss? How much for 5mm interlocking for 600psft
*
Yes, Water proof.

My advice is , use 2mm or 3mm. Firstly, it is much cheaper and it is much more stable as it is glue on.

For 2mm, it is around RM2,500 with installation .

Hi,

Normally we use wooden skirting if you wish to do skirting for the vinyl flooring.

We can actually use the vinyl itself to do skiting but it will be costly as it is very time consuming .

As been said, it is an option to do skirting for vinyl.

Cheers
