I got my blinds from TS as well, and he managed the installation for us well (quick, neat and hassle free). We are very satisified with the blinds! These were the cheapest we could find (and we have surveyed quite a few) and the quality isn't lacking either (much better than IK*A by far).

The only downside would be the master bedroom blinds, those 5 rather long pieces of blinds. If I crank up my ceiling fan, it will make my blinds sway, and knock against the wall, and it makes quite a bit of noise. But then again, this is just a design issue, nothing to do with the quality of the blinds or the installation.

Thanks for taking your time to come over in the weekends. Cheers and good luck!

can a window have a blackout and suncreen roller blind together? do you have any picture how this is installed?

Very interesting question. I am in the midst of doing a 2 layer screen roller blinds. So far, no one is doing it.

At the moment, what people does is , one layer build inside the frame and the other layer outside the frame. rclxms.gif

Actually, there are other choices other than sunscreen & blackout. I have fabric that cannot see thru, just a bit of shadow but still allows light in.

Ye,s it is true that at night when you On the light, outside can see in if you uses sun screen. However, I have a special ticker sunscreen that has openess of only 5%. Hence, it is not very visible.

Why not I pay a visit to your place, show you the material & quote you the price on the spot ? You decide whether you want or not later...

Yes, cause morning , lights coming in from ouitside. Even with sunscreen, outside cannot see in. However, at night , light from inside going out..so can see a bit.

Blackout...totally no light thru so cannot see at all. I have fabric that cannot see thru also.

I have just installed "mrdude" home, the celling fan has no effect on the roller blinds....no knocking, no noice. In fact, I have also rectified brp psychotic problem icon_idea.gif

I would suggect that you use roller blinds than vertical blinds ...cause roller look much nicer.

PM me your address and HP number.....I will try to make it this weekend.

I've just had my blinds installed by the TS.

Good service because before installing he brought the actual whole sunscreen (othes bring me small sample only) to give me an idea how it would look like. Any questions/concerns asked are answered well or given other good suggestions.

Installation was pleasant and I'm very happy overall, the price is good too  thumbup.gif

Just a note to the TS, the fabric that is a slight color of beige  - you should tell future customer that if rolled up it'll look quite orange! I would have chosen white if I knew  tongue.gif

Hi,

Just wondering how do you rectified noise, knocking sound as a result of the ceiling fan?
Am planning to get the roller blinds but just to ensure I wouldn't have this problem after the installation.

Firstly, not all have this problem. Only small blinds has this problem generally i.e. blinds that is not wide. Those more than 4 feets does not has this problem.

For bro psychotic problem, I asked him to lower down the blinds. That sovled the problem.

Actually, we can also rectify the problem by sticking those cushion onto the side of the blinds. That will definitely resolve that issue smile.gif
