Saw the launching of it sometime ago and I feel that it's awesome. Keep us posted with the reviews! biggrin.gif

wow, nice set!!

i personally think that the price is rather reasonable as its a 3 in one gadget. its the same reason people buy 3 in 1 printer. u get to use it in 3 different ways, whenever u want to show ur frens or parents the photo u taken using the phone, the amount of time u wifi sharing to ur pc, or transfer, or hand to them one by one will not be faster than docking the phone into the tablet and show them all togather. since nowadays smartphones always lack of power, whenever someone goes to work, they can just dock it into the tablet and put it into a bag and answer any calls using stylus in the pocket too.lastly someone sent u mail and documents u need go back to ur pc and open, with this, u just simply dock into the tablet and edit whatever u want and sent, in the same device, problem solve, issue done.

i personally think that it worth the price. =) of cos if it released in malaysia the price will be even cheaper i guess.

NOW SOMEBODY IS TALKING, THIS IS THE MAIN MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS DEVICE CREATE FOR.This is the reason why this device design for. You can type your own notes on the class WITH KEYBOARD without sucking your phone battery, and you can refer back wherever you go with your mobile device. you no need to copy musics, pictures documents to your i phone, pad i pad, netbook, laptop, desktop, tablet, android phone and any shit else double times or even triple times....

PS: you are my mind reader : )

I :"I looking for my phone casing, but i think you don't have it yet"
Sales :"what phone you are using sir?"
I :"Padfone"
Sales :"Sorry, what phone?"
Take out my phone from pad station , and the sales face was shock
Sales :"Wow, what phone is this, is it a phone just took out from a tablet?"
I :"its a new phone called padfone. nvm, i'm sure you don't have it. How about find me a phone bag?".......

i went through some forum they said can ask for global warranty but that is not my concern by the way. this phone concept was came out from last year, so they already set this is performing a dual core that quad core is launching in this year only. and thx for the viewing, its really good nice piece but a bit clashing when swap into pad station. "this is first concept, what do you expect" wink.gif

Can the tablet be used to charge other smartphones with the Micro USB port? Would it fit?

Also, are you able to plug the Padfone (phone) to a HD TV? Some say can some say cannot. Is there a HDMI port on the tablet itself?

If you turn off the stylus headset, when you turn it on, do you need to pair it again?

nice questions:

Can the tablet be used to charge other smartphones with the Micro USB port? Would it fit?
i think the tablet only can fit is the padfone because theres two port jack in the tablet that same ask the padfone. every phone have different sizes and distance between the micro hdmi port and the micro usb port.

Also, are you able to plug the Padfone (phone) to a HD TV? Some say can some say cannot. Is there a HDMI port on the tablet itself?
Second, i haven try out since i can let it become like a netbook and i don't have a hdmi to micro hdmi cable.i went through xda developer forum, they said cannot yet, hope asus will settle this issue and its only due to software issue. And no, there no hdmi port on the tablet. i think asus wont give a chance to let you connect a display and other display.

If you turn off the stylus headset, when you turn it on, do you need to pair it again?
Last, yes it will auto pair back unless you take out / jack into the tablet. the headset will not pair back

May I know more about the 'Clashing'?
Really thinking of getting one. Eventhough its dualcore, I dont think its too far behind. Heck in my office nobody have a quad core phone yet....i dont think they care also biggrin.gif

On Tablet mode, if we received call, can the tablet be used to talk like a normal fon? I dont think i'll be getting the stylus headset

I plan to buy this phone because it has Garmin navigation. Can anyone comment on this phone GPS reception? Can it locate the position within a minute? Will it display speed limit and junction view in Malaysia?
