He got post other amazing and nice landscape shots before.
*
I'm just a newbie to landscape photography, I rarely shoot them... hopefully will have more good shots during my Perth trip later this year hehehe...

QUOTE(bUGG @ Jun 25 2012, 09:29 AM)
Wow, nice.  rclxms.gif  Normally I don't see alivated view of sunset / fish village.
*
Yeah, I had to shoot from the 3rd floor balcony for this view... Much better than shooting from ground hehe.

QUOTE(amduser @ Jun 25 2012, 09:31 AM)
Okay i'm so sorry...
*
I rarely post landscape shots, that's just because its much harder to shoot landscape than the rest. Landscapes don't move, for what shoot many same shots? Only way is to go back at different timing / weather for different shots --> I'm too lazy for that haha!

Cy, bring tripod along to Perth. No regret one. I brought mine to Perth early last month. Nice night photography.
*
I'm thinking weather to bring tripod or not, cause my Manfrotto is really heavy... else is bring my cheap victory brand one... light and easy to carry around... but I'm most likely bringing my Joby Focus... My first time to Perth after starting photography... will be there for 2 weeks xD. Will WhatsApp you for tips on where to shoot biggrin.gif.

My bad for not putting this. Actually i was thinking whether is there any compatible part for it?

Go original, its RM50 or so for it. Fits nicely and no need worry about quality issues. (Although original also will peel la haha!)

celciuz, after putting 2x converter to ur 70-200 AF slow down obviously kah ?
*
Not that noticeable to me... but color contrast drop is noticeable lol.

70200VR2 + TC-20E III AF more responsive and faster than the 300mm f/4!

But then again, not all lens will work with these TC... its pretty choosy actually... but 70200 VR2 and TC20E III is a known combo that works.. if with old TC20E II performance kinda bad.

Hey guys need ur advice on which lens to choose..
1. Nikon 35mm f1.8G
2. Nikon 50mm f1.8G
3. Tamron 17-50 f2.8 non vc

i'm seeking a cheap lens that can be used in events and also gr8 for taking portrait photos..
Also, i would like to have nice bokeh..
fyi, my camera body is D5100..

So which one is more suitable?
*
3, but you're going to be having issues under low light with the Tamron hunting for focus, and also focus inconsistency but it is the most versatile among all.

What lens is being used first? Don't expect a kit lens to perform like a pro grade lens.

Ditto, I wonder what's wrong with it? Looks OK to me.

Could be the post processing method maybe, here's one with 70-200 VR2 for comparison.

i am using the old 18-135 f3.5-5.6 lens on the d80 body, but currently bought a 50mm f.18d lens for shooting, so the 18-135 lens kept aside didnt use for quite sum time,

the problem is when i put back the 18-135 lens back to the body, the top lcd display shows (F --), aperture reading gone, and AF-S display gone, put back the 50mm nothing happen..

shutter still can release but the image is black and motor does not auto focus...anyone has this issue b4 or is this the place where i put this post
*
Could be connection issue perhaps?

Sadly I had lost my SB-900 flash yesterday.
I'm in need to use a flash, so I had another flash, but it is a canon's 580EXii.
My question is, can I attach it to my D300s body? Is there any side effect to both gadget?

------edited!------
I had try it, and it work, using ETTL and also manual mode.
*
Wow, first time I hear Nikon body able to trigger Canon flash in ETTL!

Let me get this right, you're expecting D5000 to perform as well as D700? DX vs FX?

Side note I don't remember D5000 sensor being that crappy... Same sensor as D90 right?
