x10 or x100 better?

Different type of camera... one is a multi purpose zoom... another is a fixed lens with big aperture... can't exactly compare head to head or using price. Its more like what the user wants to use it for.

No, X100 is fixed. The one able to change lens cost as much as a D700 for the body ._.

Guys today I went to garden and do shooting.I now then realize that when my Nikon D5100 pair with 55-300mm f3.5-5.6 with "AUTO" setting,after the snap,the screen in the viewfinder will shake.anything wrong?

but how come in manual mode,this problem didn't occur?

Turn off VR completely, and see it happens or not.

i agree on this. but then again, i am not so sure how good the 3200's sensor is.
if it's as good as say... NEX 7, it means i can get this baby for rm 1500 (body alone) and attach it with some super awesome lenses.
slow AF? i use live view manual focus.
noisy high iso? i use low iso only.
shutter delay is slow? i use tripod and my subjects do not move fast.

aduh... I have all my photos since 2007 .. except year 08 when my hdd died. only this year I printed some of my stuff from 09 and 07. Hang on my wall.. syok sendiri..

lol its hard to live without those orgasmic shallow dof lense.

i would think of saving that for future too, like better lense or lighting setup and else but the urge is strong lol.

I just take a sample to lab and use this nikon microscope instead (the microscope is very nice, but the cheap luminera cam attached totally sucks ) .

going 18-105 lens seems like a good idea but its automatic out of max budget around 2.6k .

sb700 is kinda..   im not deserved to have such god stuff lol. at least for now.
my friend have sb400 (that i could beg from him lol) when i some extra flash maybe.
d5100 price is kinda far cheaper for identical model - RM1988 with 18-55 compared to d3200 with same lens - RM2175. Extra rm200 for extra 7mp minus swivel lcd.

I think i should go for 5100, but just need to be more gentler with the lcd (these kind of moving stuffs tend not to survive long in my hands). maybe the remaining fund can invested on good gorilla tripod haha
