QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 28 2012, 04:47 PM) Different type of camera... one is a multi purpose zoom... another is a fixed lens with big aperture... can't exactly compare head to head or using price. Its more like what the user wants to use it for. ya bt to compare quality, of course x100 is better..anyway it depends on the user's needs..if the user want a good pns camera, then x10 is a great one.. eh x100 is not interchangeable lens o? Added on July 28, 2012, 8:29 pmi think im gonna grab a nissin 622 mark ii comes with 8 AA eneelop batteries, charger, diffuser n battery casing..at rm599 isit good buy? QUOTE(ifer @ Jul 30 2012, 10:25 AM) i agree on this. but then again, i am not so sure how good the 3200's sensor is. my fren has lots of praises on this 3200..jz that lcd screen is a lil more blue, which is less accurate..bt then when transfered to computer, the color is accurate.if it's as good as say... NEX 7, it means i can get this baby for rm 1500 (body alone) and attach it with some super awesome lenses. slow AF? i use live view manual focus. noisy high iso? i use low iso only. shutter delay is slow? i use tripod and my subjects do not move fast. n i dun think it has noisy high iso lar..nikon is good at handling that. n 24MP is wonderful! good if wanna zoom zooom |

QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Jul 31 2012, 07:53 AM) lol its hard to live without those orgasmic shallow dof lense. shooting plants? then perhaps u want a micro lens? 40mm micro f2.8?i would think of saving that for future too, like better lense or lighting setup and else but the urge is strong lol. thanks for the thought. |

QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Jul 31 2012, 03:59 PM) hmm.. not sure if I really need macro because if the subject like fungi or insect mouthpart etc i think u jz get the 3200 with 18-105 lens..u get pretty decent bokeh at 105mm~ at the same time, u get a quite nice zoom lens..I just take a sample to lab and use this nikon microscope instead (the microscope is very nice, but the cheap luminera cam attached totally sucks » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « or if u plan to get 55-300, then jz get the 18-55 lens.. btw i think the 24MP on 3200 is really attractive.. if u're not a fan of high pixel, get the 5100 will do.. |

QUOTE(failed.hashcheck @ Jul 31 2012, 05:13 PM) going 18-105 lens seems like a good idea but its automatic out of max budget around 2.6k im a d5100 user..n bout the lcd, i never close it after use..the only time when i use it to swivel around is when i take extremely low shot upwards..so no nid worry for it to be broken..sb700 is kinda.. my friend have sb400 (that i could beg from him lol) when i some extra flash maybe. d5100 price is kinda far cheaper for identical model - RM1988 with 18-55 compared to d3200 with same lens - RM2175. Extra rm200 for extra 7mp minus swivel lcd. I think i should go for 5100, but just need to be more gentler with the lcd (these kind of moving stuffs tend not to survive long in my hands). maybe the remaining fund can invested on good gorilla tripod haha d3200 with 18-105 is 2698..extra 100 from ur budget..else u take d5100 body + 18-105 lorh.. n for flash, get the nissin di622 mark ii..more powerful than sb700 n less than half the price.. bt less consistent.. Added on July 31, 2012, 8:17 pm QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jul 31 2012, 07:24 PM) lens af speed will depend on body also?i noe the lens cant AF on motor-less body. This post has been edited by f5calvin: Jul 31 2012, 08:19 PM |
