One of the benefit on rooted phone is
- can get faster updates as SME usually slow on releasing its updates. * flash manually the UK updates using MobileOdin and you phone now is on latest updates with root intact. When M'sia updates arrive then reflash manually with M'sia updates. In other words - your phone always on latest firmware :-)) |

QUOTE(zandara @ Jun 13 2012, 12:43 AM) Hey, I had problem for Messaging apps in my S3. Try clear your Messaging data cache.I can't open it to SMS or even receive SMS and gave me a status "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped" Anyone encounter this problem with solution? Now I have to download Go SMS pro for sms. Direct Call is unusable in GoSMSpro Setting > application manager > all > messaging > clear data If still got problem..hard/factory reset ought to solve it :-) |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jun 13 2012, 09:24 PM) IMO, don't put casing is the best during use. Only use a casing when you keeping it in bag where it gets bump a lot. Use naked is the best. Just put the phone in a leather or soft pouch when carry it outdoor.a week plus using it naked, ady have some scratches at the bottom of the back cover. but my love towards my love never get affected. |

QUOTE(farscope @ Jun 13 2012, 09:31 PM) yup.. that's my current practice. casing only when going rough. I'm still looking for a good soft pouch. At the moment no stock..had to use GNote pouch. Ouchh..besar like baju pinjam ~~ehehe~~the feel of the S3 on my hands is too good to let go for an inferior casing. |

QUOTE(tsc77y @ Jun 13 2012, 10:15 PM) very unlucky that my 64GB mobile ultra SDXC card can not use and has to return for exchange due to unable to complete the formatting process using Windows 7 standard formatting method. Don`t know why, have done formatting so many times never faced problem but this give me problem. I never format my 64GB card. Just put into my S3 can straight away use without problemStart another waiting game for the replacement card. |

QUOTE(mulanly @ Jun 13 2012, 11:11 PM) hi, Maybe S5 or S6..M'sia will get the LTE version...hopefully :-)Was wondering whether to get the Malaysian version of Samsung galaxy s3 or to get the LTE version? Since Maxis and Digi is going to roll out LTE network next year. Hoping that the phone will last for a long time, so thinking of getting the Malaysian or LTE version. Thank you |
