Fast go try and let me know how to install it wink.gif

Good to see that. Now I can install the ownhere map into it.
*
for my case, previously I'm using /system/app ownhere version. no need to uninstall 6.8.0

1. wipe data using TB
2. install 6.9.0 signed apk as normal.
3. don't run it, reboot after installing.
4. restore Data Only from TB.

already tested, login ok, navigate ok.

I only have the signed version.

But seems like the offline feature is not available on 6.9 . JB map is 6.9.1 if not mistaken
*
basically signed version just need to install like normal apk, while unsigned version either push or paste in /system/app. cannot swap ways each other.

No, I had tested 6.9.0, make offline maps works like charm!!!!!
downloading now for Penang+ part of kedah/Perak = 82.9MB

heard that 6.9.1 got some bug, I will stay at 6.9.0 now.

update:
download completed.
turn off wifi and data connection.
the maps I saved just working as normal.

i am just using tb to uninstall
*
you have to know where is your current maps located first. TB is unable to uninstall it if it's located at /system/app.
like mine, I just using root explorer to go /system/app, mount R/W and delete straight away if I want.
make a backup if you need to do so, nobody guarantee if anything can happen icon_rolleyes.gif

I used to downclock my ICS to 700mhz to save battery, now I'm running stock JB kernel and the battery lasts even longer.  tongue.gif

UV control can do further...

I already have the modded maps. smile.gif The thing I'm really impressed is the timing, it was freaking accurate.
I think I wanna buy a Nexus 7 and stick it in my car. tongue.gif

unless you turn on your galaxy nexus tethering, else nexus 7 won't get the turn by turn navigation work without data connection.

Guys, can I ask. Does maps 6.9.0 mod-signed have offline function
and how to install and delete the default the apk currently in phone?
I see what use TB to delete, me blur blur d T__T
*
even stock maps 6.9.0 already have offline maps function. the main objective of using ownhere mod is only unlocked navigation function in Malaysia.

but I can't save the map for Kajang, it says offline maps are not available in selected area
*
too narrow or smaller area might not available. try zoom out or entire Selangor state, should work.
