Uhhh... basicalllyyyyyyyyyyy. Let's say, even if TS upgrades to 7970.... can he even get more FPS than let's say..... 7850? I mean, the CPU is bottlenecking atm. A small upgrade, probably a Quad Core will help a bit but I ain't too sure bout that. Since TS's budget is only 1k, I'd suggest staying away from powerful cards as much as possible and concentrate at least more on the processor. Or get the 7850 card first before changing the entire system to Core i series.
