Okay , for Streamyx Wireless Related Questions use this thread (you need to check with an agent , and I think there is no Base Station there)

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=233717 <-- Streamyx Wireless Thread

The other way is to share the connection with someone , i.e by using a Wireless Router and a repeat the signal (you could buy a 1-2km WiFi USB Device , some claims that It can go as far as 5km). So if you could hook up with someone in your area that are willing to share streamyx with you. I think you would have no problem

I have been using mobile internet for the past 4 months. As long as u can receive mobile phone signal, u can access to internet already. The monthly fee is fixed and unlimited usage.

U may choose from either Celcom,Digi or Maxis. Where is yr exact location?

We are not using phone, the reasons are:
1) Normally phone modem speed is 56k only, and yr phone life span will be shortern.
2) Battery will empty very fast, normally within 2-3 hours. Spoilt easily.

The best solution is using a PCMCIA modem like 3G card that promoted by the operators. It can achieve faster speed, up to 384 kbps in 3G areas.
