Hi, my area juut received Streamyx coverage on November 2005 (Sungai Buloh). I registered long time ago, so a sales from TM-Net called me up asking if I want to take it. So I agreed to sign-up the RM77 free modem package.

One week later 2 technician came and installed the modem. Tested the line ok. DSL steady, but cant connected, "Couldn't find PPPoE server" error. So the technicians said will check for me and went off.

1 week later still cant connect. I called one of them. They said reported to TM-Net.
Have to wait for investigation. I've also called the support center. They said I have to let the technician to activate for me, because im getting the free modem package.

Then i keep calling the technician every 3-4days for good news. No news.
2 weeks ago, DSL signal lost, nothing at all.

I getting frustrated, 1 month+ getting the modem and i still cant connect. I want to find out why, what's wrong. Who should i talk to? Complain?

Help... i hope to enjoy unlimited surfing during CNY.

Bribe tmnut technician to activate 2 MB streamyx.

Try bugging them and try to re-register if possible. Make sure your area is under their coverage zone. You need to do something , make a report on this matter. Just tell them you want the exact details ,w hy its not working , and not some "n00b" excuses like "You're too far from DSLAM , your copper line is bad". If so , ask them to provide a reason

Email to TMNET CEO if your problem is persist for too long. Write in diplomatic and professional way with detailed information on your problem will get good response.

*UPDATE*

I took some sweet time writing a nice email to the CEO. And yes, i jsut got a call from the technician saying that my line are ok. Im going to test it tonight agfter work. Also the Customer Relation have just spoke to me to check on the status i finally got their attention.

just ask them when you face to face meeting them...if you savings much more than wang kopi...then deal done....

I have seen many government servants taking bribe from my sub contractor's friend...they call first for donation for certain anak yatim funds, then u know what to do lah...

now many of them dun wan to help liao they scare kena tangkap
