For convenient sake, ok lah.
For quality wise, no way with this 1/2.3" sensor & F3.5-6.3 aperture.

zstan Here's the photo i took, if zoom in 100% can c got noise/blur, is it bcoz of the iso? thanks sifu  blush.gif

btw how to resize the photo i post here, how come so big =o= LOL
*
Are you handheld?
It seems like handshake to me. Noise level at this 1" sensor is pretty normal.

Also you can choose the size in Flickr before you copy the link.

i dont see any effects of handshake...cos the bricks and chinese words on wall still clear.
the blurriness only at edges, so still most likely lens issue.

You are absolutely right, my old man eye no good tongue.gif

har? lens issue? i juz bought my rx100 wor .. don scare me, btw its handheld

Do a proper test under proper lighting to see how it turn out.

You are using f1.8 and it could cause some softness to image quality, especially the edges.

try to stop down to F4, proper lighting and mount on Tripod.

btw, if sensor got stain can send to sc to clean for me? is it free or with fee?
*
If under warranty, should be free.
Because for RX100, high chance they not just clean, they might replace the whole lens unit.

Yes, small aperture can see more dust, thats how should test the lens if got any dust or not.

You need to bring your warranty card, receipt along.

Perhaps I am asking a Captain Obvious question but since there are many users here,  like to ask if the image quality difference is significant over phone camera (say Nexus 6P) especially for macro shots and/or low light conditions?

See the comparison done by our brother Sniper.

Looks over-cooked too much ajinomoto on my screen though.

Same to me, over saturation and the sky color is unnatural.

rclxms.gif  nice DIY. Can you tell me where you get your camera grip and third party batteries ?
*
For the grip, seems like only Sony Center KLCC is selling and the other Sony center got ready stock.
Others all have to order and no ETA. I also got my from KLCC Sony.

For 3rd party battery, I am using Pisen one bundle with external wall charger.
