Taken any nice photos in Taipei?

I mostly use RX100m3 this trip, traveling with kid is no chance to bring out bigger camera.

But the way, I tested the Sky HDR briefly, still don't really know how it works.

Result as below:

My venerable Mk1 really giving up ghost.

So many sensor dust spots from its days living in my pocket.

Dinner pic spam.

If see carefully, there's at least one dust spot that I missed cloning out.

Hmmm. Then I should avoid putting into pocket to prevent dust.

First time testing the Panorama mode in RX100m3, not perfect, but not bad, happy with the outcome.

EM5 nice, but sometimes you just feel like travelling light, Yes I can get nice wide angle on my EM5, nice bokeh on my EM5 with the hassle of changing lens, not to mention you have to bring all the lens. I usually just travel with 7-14mm and 25mm.
*
Fully agree with you, especially travel with kid.
My last week trip to Taipei, brought EM5 and RX100m3, at the end, using RX100m3 95%!

and here i was thinking of getting a G7x.
now that u say its slower than rx100, which i felt is already quite slow...then its time to look elsewhere tongue.gif
*
GR AF also hunt a lot in low light. So far X70 AF is quiet promising. But let see.

Same here. I can live without all the fancy features but can't pull the trigger on the G7X. It felt even slower than my mk1 RX100. End up getting a GF7 instead for lower price.

Hope the MK2 G7X improves though.

Seems like no compact camera AF is fast and perfect.
What do you think?

but X70 is more than rm2k right? too exp for what it is...better i go hunt for a used nikon coolpix A.
i'll also wait and see the nikon 1" compacts coming soon and see how much they are.

wow, screw that...i just saw x70 retail price is RM3388...wtf.
*
Coolpix A hard to find now, even BH Photo no longer selling.
If can find with low price, it is still a very capable camera. At 1 point, BH photo throw price at US400 only.

Or else, try Ricoh GR 1, my favorite compact camera with reasonable price now after GR2 released.

YL prices are now a joke la, i see their prices for used items also like wtf.
its not that coolpix A is rare, can buy easily if want brand new.
just no one buying, so u hardly see on used market tongue.gif
*
Another reason no one buy Coolpix A because the launching price is ridiculous compare to GR, i believe more ppl bought GR instead.

i think only old uncles will buy GR, cos youngins dunno what ricoh is tongue.gif
actually only reason why i never bought coolpix A, is cos no viewfinder, and the stupid dumb nikon viewfinder attachment is damn expensive.
*
Haha... i am very old uncle then, who owned GRD4, GR & full set of GXR + Lenso hmm.gif

In fact, my friend who working in Ricoh helped me to buy my GR at staff price (RM1800 only).
He asked me: Why you buy GR? No one in Ricoh is using Ricoh camera laugh.gif

GR + [m43+35-100mm] macam good combo for travel tongue.gif

Even a M16 riffle should mate with Glock handgun right? biggrin.gif
*
Yes, thats right. But at the end, you will only use GR, trust me biggrin.gif
