Am asking opinion on buying dx9 batman 89. Great looking bat as it closely resemble the bat from the comic book, which i liked. But I read from review it uses materials that is rubber/leather like.  My question, if i am planning to keep this forever, will 4-5 years down the road the materials will crack? If so the best cure to avoid it to happen? Hope anybody can share. Thanks

last weekend did a closeup check on my medicom spidey. black spidey's "leather" already cracking on his knee cap. red spidey still ok
that means this is my second encounter with such problems, previously medicom ghost rider. i'm not so sure about HT but i'll avoid them at all cost these days. each figure cost real $$$ and when this problem arise really sakit hati

The BIG difference would be DX09 suit is made of soft PVC... while Medi's spidey is of pleather... Well I dare to say DX09 will last 4 to 5 years... I've invested in 3 to 4 DX09 bodies myself.

Cure/Prevention... give it a lub. rubdown once-a-while... and no extreme poses...

Speaking of suits (the Iron [Titanium-Aurum] variety)....

A historical recap of HT's female figures:
Here parts are switch-able between figures with variable butt/bust/...slight difference in legs/arms:
QUOTE
1. Black Widow
2. Jill BSAA
3. Jill Battle Suit
4. Alice
5. Babydoll
6. Amber
7. Saeko Nogami
8. Angelica: Exclusive

Future figures should have the same compatibility are:
1. Black Widow (Avengers)
2. The Boss MGS
3. Catwoman
A list for the old TTF or the old "hot-angel" (HA) body..... not exactly compatible with the bodies above:
QUOTE
1. Machiko (HA)
2. 2x TTF (HA)
3. Female Secret Service ERT (HA)
4. Sarah Connor (with T-1000 variant)
5. Abigail Whistler (HA)
6. Elizabeth Swan
7. Sheva (HA)
8. Cha-cha Asai
9. Silken Floss (HA)
10. Silk Spectre II (HA)
11. Ripley (2x)
12. Vasquez

... That's the entire HT female figures history I believe..... All these could roughly be grouped to 3 basic female bodies from HT..

The spidey suit looks like it's going to peel in time.

I  assume this spidey from medi will be a "midget" too. As of all the other "medis"

Medi are better with their size/height of late

Thanks, Beast.

By the way, what you are saying is that the newer Medi bodies are taller?

Thanks.
At least the newer movie related Medi figures....

Apparently, the Mark 8 armor in Iron Man 3 is called "Mark 47" instead.. And Stark would be able to control up to 40 suits.. Make that, Hot Toys!  sweat.gif

Source with hot chick
If I'm not particular... I believe I've already have 47 1/6 HT suits...

As promised, here are a couple comparison photos I took showing both the new and old Mark I, along with some shots of just the 2.0 version.
