Some say MK 7 is not worth as it has too many interchangeable parts, not like previous MK 6 which has extended/opening parts to review the missile. and it seems like Hot Toys does not showing their effort on doing this figure.
My opinion is HT doing the interchangeable part is to avoid "heavy usage" on open and close the parts which would cause "wear-off" and loose of the joint, interchangeable part is good for display in the cabinet, and preserve the outlook of this toy...
What say you guys?
1. Are you a HT newbie?... seems Mk. VII and TDKR brings-in lots of newbies. Who are these "some" that you mentioned?
2. Clavicle missles and pop-out hip flares are possible to be impliment on Mk. VI because the mechanics are possible to be implimented in 1/6 scale toy form. Forearms missles were not possible (on Mk. VI) and these are modullar/replacing parts. I'd also say interchangeble parts are not more robust and if not proverly designed are prone to breakage as well. Mk. IV & VI are fragile.
3. The modular thigh and clavicle missles of Mk. VII neccesitates interchangeble parts as HT have designed... it's simply not feasible to produce a functional the retracting shoulder, thigh missles or even the uni forearm missile (that looks good).

just about to pre order the mark VII for the first time to have to pay upfront?
Depends on sellers/retailers. Online through xl you'll have to pay full, .... For others paying full will get you cheaper (however not very apparent with mk. 7)

So Angelica will be more expensive than dx jack!!
not including travel expenses to sg.... and staying... but I suppose One person can represent many during collection, as these figures are fully paid ....
But that person would likely look like this:.... and he/she'll likely to suffer tax crossing Johor/airport (which is ironic, as these are pre-paid in Malaysia)

only buy ticket...kena pergi Spore collect yourself...
i think they can collect for you with a price...
To be precise: Buy a ticket online (16 Aug).... Pay for the 3 figures (at XL or Singapore) on 20th..... Collect in Singapore on 1-2 Sept...
Not the most convinient way for Malaysians.... So Singaporeans and Malaysians are to share 400 sets (1200 figures).
Why not do it like SSC (disembileh online & only for the figures you want).... I suppose they need insentive to attract visitors to the event in Singapore (unlike SDCC).

Hot Toys is proud to present the highly expected 1/6th scale Hulk Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the smash hit The Avengers. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of the giant green-skinned angered monster Hulk in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt with rolling eyeballs and specially sculpted muscular body.
