Also,if thats the case..should i get a u2/u3??
u2 will fit the y480 perfectly however..if i get a 15" notebook in the future,i cant use the u2 anymore and will have to get another cooler..
u3 will be future proof but it might be too big for y480...

Kingston 4GB 1600 only sell RM85 at C-Zone and RM80 at Thunder Match(only lowyat plaza)...lol
If u still want to change laptop in next 1 or 2 years, I think u better get U3...

I would choose the U3 because of larger space for ventilation and better fans than the U2. And for the ram is warranty claim? not quite sure about that.

i thought the fans are the same?just an extra one fan in the u3..Im also worried about the size difference when using y480 and u3...

The fan is the at same speed(although it state different in Cooler Master Website)
and I suggest u to plug it to external power source as the fan speed will maintain at same and faster speed...

Its normal thinking alot, I am the same too I own the U2 but I feel the fans are weak so maybe U3 is better from the specs Im going to put a normal desktop casing fan soon which is more powerful

I ady compare with U2 and U3, U3 fans sometime is slower speed than U2 fans due to the three fans into one USB, otherwise these two thing actually is in same speed

I see Best is to use casing fans such as Arctic F12 and screw it to the U2/U3 for me

then how to power it up??i'm sure usb not enuff

I use molex to 3 pin and power it through my psu lol

we don't even know what next in the future lol...

I connect it to my desktop power supply directly with the adapter which is molex to 3 pin fan connector which can be easily found in computer hardware shops or included in some fans when you buy it. Use the included screws to attach the fan to the U2 cooler and done.

BTW NVIDIA 305.67 Beta Driver out jor(although still cannot directly download from NVIDIA there, it in the section of NVIDIA dev zone there)
