nnnoooo kana or kinzu. :3 swap it for deathadder or g400 instead.

Added on June 12, 2012, 6:41 am
kinzu is below average, the sensor is just crappy. Kana's one too, and IINM, both of them sharing the same sensor. smile.gif
*
They are not so good, but won't consider them as bad.
Basically, some time sensor considered bad having many factor, 1 of the problem of kinzu and kana are they are not compatible with all surfaces and work well. Therefore if you using them with a proper suitable surface, might solve certain problem.

Shape and comfort-ness wise, just individual personal preference.

roccat kone+ , logitech g500/g700, ss sensei...which 1 better?  blink.gif
*
Basically all of them are different, how can we compare them.

Sensei is ambidextrous, kone+ is ergonomic, g700 is wireless, G500 is not in the same price range with another 3, that's why i will say they are totally different.

What about the sensor for SS Xai or Sensei?
*
For me, no doubt, their sensors are great. Precision, dpi, speed, every thing basically good.
But not for me, I still prefer ergonomic, waiting SS to release another imba mouse which can overtake Ikari.

yeah b4 this i ever encounter a very disturbing problem wif my ikari laser when the cursor suddenly went crazy, jump all over the screen which u cannot control it at all..and to solve it, I disassemble the mice, observe the mice board and found out that there was some burning happened on the board it can tell by some black smoke color on it..so I padam it wif eraser and cuci cuci then assemble back, WAlla!! the cursor went back to normal  laugh.gif but atm I feel that the sensor gone a lil bit too sensitive coz i can c the cursor always vibrating all the time sad.gif...
*
The last problem you mentioned I think most people refer it as "jitter" issue, IMHO, it occur more on Ikari optical.
Btw, I think you may try different mouse pad may solve the problem. (in detail, maybe check at mouse pad forum looking for expert)

*
It is over sensitive but is due to the imprecision of the sensor. As mentioned, more occurrence in optical sensor.
Currently I using my second Ikari Laser on 9HD having no any jitter issue.

I'm thinking to get between Kova+ or Deathadder, any suggestion to whom might came across using either of the mouse??
*
Kova is ambidextrous, Deathadder is ergonomic, shape wise, not comparable simply personal preference.

Sensor wise, both will be medium end product, should satisfy most of the users.

PS: if you are palm grip user and concern more on fps, go for DA, otherwise (mmo and strategy gamer), fingertip grip, get Kova, or maybe Razer, Abbysus.
Deathadder just too big for some small palm user.

Logitech G400 or MX518.
both are gaming mouse but it's economic last for few years. rclxms.gif

If I not mistaken MX518 is discontinued.
There is another logitech mouse very similar to MX 518 and clearly stated by Logitech which is replacement for MX518.

how IME 3.0 came about the gaming scene is like, me giving players like f0rest, get_right, starix etc this mouse to use.

and tadahhh..suddenly everybody uses it.
just imagine if IME 3.0 was never passed on to those pros you mentioned, it'll never even be popular. To us, prolly it's another mice by Microsoft..heck, I bet you'll never even batter an eyelid at it. IINM, Habu was the same era as IME 3.0, but of course it was a failure.
*
I never doubt IME 3.0 whether a good mouse, but personally feel that some of other models are good alternative for IME 3.0 in terms of shape, sensors and etc. Just wonder why you very insist to have an IME as spare mouse.

So out of all those u hav which one u felt most comfy?
*
Comfort wise just your on preference based on your gripping style and palm size and shape. If possible get your hand or some demo or browsing unit in lowyat plaza.

Maybe you think that the LED light on DA is nice, but for me, the light is bit unnecessary and I make it always off. The reason is because DA itself using infrared sensor which is releasing quite large amount of hit, with the led light on then is hotter cause more sweat from your hand and actually killing the rubber surface and make it peel off faster.

I didn't try to use any of the thumb button from any of my mouse.
I simply meant for the shape. PS: the thumb button for naga just too tough and hard to press for me. I won't use any of them.

hi i wanna ask a q...
why does my steel series ikari stops working(with lazer still on) or it runs full sensitif  and goes to the corner of the screen.its getting annoying as i have to replug the usb.pls help  icon_question.gif  cry.gif
*
Rare case, btw, Ikari laser or optical? What you meant by stop working with laser still on??

If you using Ikari laser, there should be no any visible light from the sensor.
That's the reason I assume you talking about Ikari optical.

It's quite common that if some time some pulse input or some error signal (can cause by improper surface used or many other facotrs) within the mouse system cause the cursor sprint to the corner of screen, but usually that doesn't need to re plug the mouse. As your case, you need to unplug the mouse (in other way, you are shutting down the mouse power), I doubt something wrong with the board.

If still under warranty, maybe need to send for RMA if it occur frequently.

What you described definitely lead to ambidextrous mouse.
Steelseries Sensei, Razer Taipan are the best I can think about.

anyone can recommend me a quiet mouse?
don't need to be high end as long as it's quiet.
my current mouse is razor salmosa and at night the sound click click is really loud that it bothers my room mate
*
I'm not sure whether all model from from Razer and Steelseries having same loud click sound, but few of their products with me are quite noisy initially before I get used to it.

Are you actually looking for gaming mouse? heavy gamer?? most of the microsoft wireless desktop set or mouse having quite quiet click.

I personally believe that G700 is a bit too big for claw gripper. For me as a palm gripper, G700 is awesome!  smile.gif

Added on July 10, 2012, 12:31 pm

G9x is better for claw gripper but it is advisable to go to your nearest computer shop to try it out yourself as sometimes it is a really subjective matter  smile.gif
*
Very true, you won't know until you really try it.

I can either palm grip or claw grip my Ikari Laser.

PS: to whom who may concern;
Although you like g9x, I personally don't recommend you that mouse, it just cost you bomb for nothing.

i already bought G700 and i think this mouse is too big for me sweat.gif
maybe dah biasa with small mouse before
but i like all that buttons
it's simplify my work
just try gaming with this mouse and damnn i hate G700 cable
so thick n so keras, so hard to play FPS gameĀ  shakehead.gif
*
I never meant that is a bad built mouse or something wrong with the mouse, just it's price doesn't match it price.

In short, not worthy.

According to what we have in the market, I will recommend Razer Taipan and Sensei raw or MLG.

If u using claw grip definitely an ambidextrous mouse is suit for u. Looking at ur budget supposely u can go for Razer imperator, orochi, mamba, Logitech g300, mx518, SS sensei raw...I think G9x can be palm grip or claw but it so small n suitable for small hand..
*
lol, you said ambi mouse suits him more but recommended bunch of ergo mouses.

Oh ic, so I juz mixed it up randomly lol...btw if u got a big palm, mostly of the ergo can be used claw grip on it right hmm.gif
*
I think no matter how was the palm size or the mouse size still can change the grip style.

Let say a small palm player using DA, he can just hold the back parts of the mice just that not so recommended.

Myself having not very long finger but wide palm, so I consider myself semi palm grip on Imperator since the mouse is not wide enough.

Yea, I guess you and me having very similar palm shape, Ikari still the best mouse I ever had.
PS: new naga with extra side panel to exhange, one of it having similar pinky rest like Ikari, i guess you like that as well.

All the thumbs button of Naga are rubber coated, put on any of those keys will not feel slippery and won't clicked any of them accidentally because the buttons itself are quite tough.
