why die off?

i have used 3 deathadders, 1 mamba, 1 imperator, 1 abysus in the past. my oldest deathadder with my bro now, its white color and still going strong. been in service since 2008.
then second deathadder is with me, the middle scroll click got some issue, but other function still good. and in the pic is my 3rd deathadder. among all, i like DA the best smile.gif comfortable, and does its job well. fits my hand perfectly. (plays dota2 only)

Still depends on your hand, try to feel the different mice first then go buy. Yup the Razer deathadder 2013 fits in my hand perfectly as I prefer palm grip. If you like claw grip can try have a look at CM Spawn/Xornet , madcatz R.A.T etc..

Hmm it seems like you have experience in buying condoms tongue.gif . Btw, i've tried the Imperator for a few mins, and i like it more then the Deathadder. Do u know any stores that you can test the mouse itself? Stores that has display sets so that u can test them before you buy it. I play LoL,CS,Dota, stuff like that but i dont need too many macro buttons like the Naga. 2 should be enough. Helpppp

Actually I did not buy condoms but just using it as an analogy blush.gif Some shops in Low Yat have the mouse displayed so you can test them out. I used to own Razer DeathAdder when it first came out and it was a good mouse until I tried Steelseries stuffs like Ikari Laser, Sensei, etc. Like I said, it can be individual preferences.

I'd look at CM Storm Spawn, Zowie Mico, and the Logitech G9x for mouse of similar size... Roccat too but I'm not too familiar with the size of their mouse

Hi people, need to get a mouse preferably wireless.
Grip type, doesnt matter much with minimal buttons. Extra 1 or 2 is fine.
As for DPI, my cheapo mouse getting its job done on dota2 so not so much issue about it.

Been considering orochi and deathadder, but reviews of the orochi slight delay waking up from 'sleep' kinda turn me off.

Edit: Adding the budget to RM400 plus minus

Top up abit can get the Logitech G602 @ RRP MYR269, one of the best wireless mouse I've ever used.
From October till now, the battery still not dead yet with average 4 hours/day usage.
Only downside is the mouse doesn't support native charging, but hey, duracell batteries come included laugh.gif

Need some suggestion for some mouse.
My Cyborg Rat 9 just died.
Scroll wheel couldn't function properly anymore after 6 months. Seems like this is a very common occurrence too. (Extremely disappointed with them. I would expect better durability from a flagship mouse that cost nearly RM 500)

Was using DA several years back too, liked it a lot but not enough buttons.

I need something with lots of buttons, preferably a thumb scroll wheel button.
Will be using it for multimedia (FCPX, Photoshop, lightroom) functions alongside a intous tablet.

Palm grip, right handed (medium sized hand)

Wired or wireless doesn't matter. As long as it's very reliable and it doesn't lag. I felt the cyborg rat 9 lags at times. It also uses custom battery which runs through like water. Once both given batteries are dead, there is no way you can get replacements as they're very very hard find.

DPI medium to medium high. Switchable on the go is preferred but not needed. Just don't reset the settings everytime I switch it on (OSX).

Should be able to input buttons macro on OSX, hardware customization not important.

No more Saitek, my mouse died in less than a year but warranty only covers 90 days. I've lost confidence in that brand.

Budget about RM 500.

Thanks !

Not Razer Naga or Logitech g600.
The numpad buttons configuration seems counter intuitive for me.

I'll consider the G700, Taipan and Ouroborus, thanks.

I guess Cyborg rat is the only mouse that has horizontal scrolling...
A pity, that function is really useful when editing video where side scrolling comes in really handy,
