Has anyone tried or reviewed the Gigabyte M7 (optical not the Thor version) or the Armageddon G7? Both are using the same sensor as the small Zowie mico.

Some mice have bugged sensors which have issues well within their stated specs. The Kinzu v2 was tested to work fine only for lower sens (<=1600dpi) which is also a problem because of a tracking problem with some surfaces. I think the pro adds teflon feet and better quality switches.

I haven't come across that model maybe Im not looking hard enough. I would like to try it out though

Cloth based surfaces are usually not an issue, usually hard mats are the ones that may cause bad tracking issues. As mentioned earlier, should be faulty mice sensors that causes the issue.

Nope, this guy here showed that multicoloured cloth pad caused a low malfunction speed. You can look around for similar related Kinzu v2 and pro issues.

Some sensors just don't work as well as advertised or perhaps the mouse design team made some tradeoffs in their design to improve something at the expense of tracking resolution, so it doesn't necessarily have to be broken to be 'faulty'.

any advise. gonna dissemble my xai 2nite n try to fix the 2x click problem. if fail gotta get one of the above.

pros: looks good, great quality (much better than my previous razer), good tracking, adjustable weights, comfortable (but took sometime getting used to)

cons: middle button very sensitive (click when scrolling occasionally), sniper button hard to use

what i like about it is the shape of the mouse
will the top surface of the mouse come off?
im worried that the material on it will be peeled out or fall off
im using razer spectre
the paint on the left and right button turn darker grey from the original grey
and it don look nice anymore

no, cuz it's a glossy finish, unlike razer. u may not like the glossy finish tho.

even the black one is glossy finish?
