if it's still under warranty go and RMA it.. otherwise you'd have to DIY the switch assembly.. some forumers have done it

I haven't had the opportunity to mod like this but it'll require dismantling & soldering to get the job done

if you need the buttons and comfortable with the small size and design, then its a good one other users may say great things abt the mouse but if you don't like it then you don't like it best to give it a try

Any mice out there with the same sort of size/design as the Steelseries Ikari? I used to have one (long story, etc), but have been using a Logitech MX518 for a while, and it's okay, but now that I've built myself a new rig and am playing a lot more games it's starting to feel a bit uncomfortable.

I loved the shape and ergonomics of the Ikari, especially the fact that I had a place to put my ring and pinky fingers, but I had some rotten luck with reliability (a quick look through Amazon seems to indicate that lot of people had this problem?) and would like to try out other options. Also, and maybe my search-fu is total crap, but it doesn't seem like sellers in Malaysia are carrying the Ikari (either optical or laser) anymore, so yeah. Any ideas on mice I should be looking at?

Ideas? Ideally <RM150, but I guess ~RM200 is still ok.

The Ikari is an old mouse, no refresh by SS either, I'm also looking for a replacement before my Ikari dies out (who knows when).. been doing some research but so far only these two comes close

Should be RM69 but IMHO they're overpriced since the day they launched, best to top up a bit and get a G400 for reliability

my mouse dead dy.... i not sure can go claim warranty or not... so i was wondering which new mouse should i buy.

pls advise if u know which mouse right click button can tahan lasak wan. my gaming 70% is on DOTA, need to have 4 side buttons. most important right click must be tough, maybe this time i spend slightly more to get a good mouse to last me longer.

What's your budget btw? Mostly we will just recommend you to go for Logitech entry level Gaming mouse for that case. Or any mouse that features Omron Switch(JP Made), they last much more longer.

some information, my Logitech G700 has reach 3 years life span and it's still working, but budget is higher than RM150 thou.
