Has the following affixes:
- Fast
- Mortar
- Molten
- Invulnerable Minions
Was tanking for a group from start of Act 3 hell, and my party members ragequitted when we came across this pack.

For me, it was Garsh The Nomad <something can't remember> (Elite Bloated Malachor) in Act 3, the first level of Arreat summit

Vortex, Teleport, Jailer, Illusionist is one of the best and worst packs that I have ever encountered, especially the monster itself is moving fast.
There are a lot more, but this 1 gave me the best impression how these 4 affixes combo so well. |

for me its those invis snakes on act 2.... they are invulnerable when invis and only pop up when near u and starts attacking.
i tio OHKO in inferno alot becoz of them. cb. |

Anything with Mortar is hard. Anything that moves fast is harder. Note: moves fast, not have the fast attribute. You can get those frogs from Act 1 with Mortar.. that's deadly.
Anything else are more of an annoyance than dangerous. |

jailer frozen mortar arcane enchanted.
I tried run around to avoid the mortar, but in the end kena jailed/frozen and let mortar finish me off. |

Is it just me, or do elites in Inferno spam their abilities WAY more often than in lower difficulties?
I got a jailer molten arcane enchant vortex combo the other day that pissed me off royally. Run a bit kena jail, run further kena vortex, all the while standing in fire and eating rotating purple (pink?) death |

i have met this kind of elite where when its hp left quarter there is a skullhead appear on top of it's head.
Not sure what is this but it kill whole team less than 30 sec.. |

this is where the "reduce Impairment control.." comes in handy for those nightmare, jailer, & other...
keep a spare EQ with those stats if u cannot makan those pack, if u play barb, wear those EQ + passive skill Juggernaught at least u can tahan abit ler plus the effect wont last that long when u kena anyway, for me its those with "Reflect Damage & Fast" This post has been edited by HaRuaN.X: Jun 6 2012, 01:24 PM |

There is a mob type in Azmodan run with huge fatty look. His normal power whack @ NM level cost about 3k health. Met a group of 3 Elite of them one time with Jailer + Freeze + Devastator. My 15k health Monk gg.com for 5 times before get to clear them up.
I can't imagine what will happen when see them in Inferno. |

i entered the hell difficulty and i finally tasted the 'invulnerable minion' elite... darn it was hard! The elite itself is ok but those minion!
As a wizard I have to completely rely on my hydra and running around my hydra to get them killed! (SO now u can see how much time it takes to kill an elite... |

I encoutered a extra life vampiric plagued elite where it won't stay dead. Me and my team keep whacking it for at least 15 minutes and it will revert back to full life again.

Fire Chain + very Fast + Pull + AoE dmg + lava
meet this combination once only, kill me instantly fire chain elite usually has 3, and they move around you, make you inside of their firechain and take damage, because they are moving very fast, they move around you, you can't move out of the chain area between them, they block you inside, even if you move out successfully by chance or any skill, they pull you in again zzzzzzzzzzzz, and they have poison aoe effects around, and cast lava spell again on you even you have high LoH, resist, hp or limited immune skill, you can't survive zzzzzzzzzzzzzz it was like different Damage Over Time on you at the same time unkillable minions, mortars were ok, I always ignore them and keep attacking, wont die XD, very high LoH This post has been edited by squall0833: Jun 11 2012, 03:59 AM |

Until now (Hell), i realize that is no matter how strong or worse is the elite packs are, is the LOCATION where they come to strike u.
if u r at the open ground, i have less problem, just take longer time to kill them. If i stuck at somewhere like a small path way at dungeon or an ambush at small area, no matter what kind of combination of combo i also die. |

For me (a glass cannon WD) at Inferno I can't kite those elites that have very fast or the ones that are fast inherently. Invulnerable minions, vortex and mortar are the worse for me as a glass cannon.
Vampiric, extra health, jailer, waller, plagued, teleporter, molten, fire chain and reflect dmg usually I can kill. |

Inferno Act2 now and certain base monsters are impossible no matter the combination. I got a "fly swarm" elite (not those big bees that spit 4 bees, those swarms of mini bees), even though my monk has like 94% damage reduction I swear they do SO much damage ... like 35k hp to zero in a blink of an eye ...

I really hate Vampiric Mortar, Arcane Molten fast extra health. This game seriously need a space marine armor. SPESSSSSS MARINESSSSSSS

Jailer + freeze + mortar + plague, and they are those mobs who shoot spears from far far away. My monk can never had chance to rush near them. |

Any two or three with Jailor, Teleport, Fast, Mortar, Fire Chain and Waller is a big problem on Inferno Act 1. Bumping into melee elites with those combo is even worse.

this is very sick at heart of sin. This is really no chance for play, once frozen arcane or jailer come teleport to hit. Monster should also have cool down time, how come can spam not stop. |

I love this combo
illusionalist/molten/plague/vortex - <apply to certain blue champion mob> = overpower. you will see screen full with their illusion and once killed it they exploded with poison. basically anything exploded and spawn little mobs or poison cloud give you pain in the A$$ cause they keep respawn respawn illusion spawn again fxxk. |

if face illusionist,
normally I'll do aoe dmg with my monk while attacking the main, this one looks okay, if they has arcane and lava + vortex, then really GG in Act 2, only 2 types i do not want to meet are illusionist and invulnerable minions and the elite team that split fire balls and create aoe fireburn on target hit, that one can be very very dangerous no matter how hard you are, it is like you need keep running, get away from the fire burn if u got hit by fireball, and they are 3 (purple) or 4 (gold with minions) keep throwing many fireballs at you, make you busy and less time to attack, end up hit the enrage timer This post has been edited by squall0833: Jul 27 2012, 12:39 AM |

Actually I hate the most is Arcane Enchanted (+Waller Especially)
The most difficult to encounter. For the rest, especially Molten Along your way, if you found a U shape corner, you can kite them and stuck yourself inside, make yourself 1 vs 1/2, those elites can't Run around you and molten couldn't touch you. If no U shape corner, L is the alternative (good for big guys but not small guys) It is very good to encounter fire-chain, molten etc but not frozen/arcane/descrerator, but if you are monk & barb can sustain with high def/jump, why not? |

I'm pretty sure you have your fair share of frustration when it comes to mobs with crazy affixes.
i'll start. Fast + Reflect Damage + Extra Health + Illusionist/vortex . I think this is a DH's nightmare. Especially on those huge monsters that can shield themselves in act 3 keep 1-3. |

Any waller + mortar/desecrator + fire chains/teleporter/fast for my WD. Makes usual pet tanking kinda useless and need to kite more.
It's acceptable in fields where I can run around freely (not so), but if I'm in a dungeon and this combo appears, I will skip it and move to other places |

most annoying affix> waller shield reflect dmg especially those shaman... can cast another layer if shield somemore reason: i cant zombie bear them just like that most dangerous affix> teleport fast horde reason: my pet cant save me |

There is no "worst" elite pack now since the nerf to their damage and hp reset, all are actually ezpz.
Truthfully speaking, my barb needs to gather at least 5 elite packs in mp 10 together to have any kind of challenge. So Vota and The Fields of Slaughter maps provide the most elite packs, therefore became my favourite hunting ground. This post has been edited by MOBAJOBG: Nov 1 2012, 09:40 AM |

Reflect Damage, Health Link, Molten, Fast on Bloodclan Occultists. Health link, Reflect damage and Shield = can't life leech, Molten + Fast = need to chase them and take more damage and these guys can run faster than me or Usain Bolt, even with Sprint.
