QUOTE(neo1point3 @ Nov 18 2012, 08:21 AM) I have no regret buying my EB cfe Bro, two things...To me, EB is the most value for money MPV under Rm100k Well equipped accessories, fast pickup and overtaking, cruise at low rpm ( 110km/h @ 2400rpm) Problem: engine die off twice in my ownership Solution: go to any SC and tell them change Oil Control Valve. 30 minutes job. No more die off and misfiring when idling What i slightly dislike, the interior material. The plastic is good, design is acceptable, does not looks cheap but one thing, easily scratch 1- My engine die off and after changing the OCV and reflash the TCU and ECU still the same, now they suspect the CVT problem and waiting the answer from technical team 2- Regarding any scratch on plastic, just use the normal paint polish and the scratch will disappear in no time Wish me luck (they are thinking to open and play with my gearbox |

QUOTE(SmallPotato2011 @ Jan 16 2013, 08:23 AM) Hi all dai kor here.. I just booked an Exora Bold Standard CFE in Sunday and expected to get the car next week. Since this car is not come with reverse sensor. I would like to add for this. Where can I get a reverse sensor (silver colour) in KLANG valley? I search online, all are in black colour, it is not nice to add in as different colour with my new Exora. Any idea? HI, you can buy the sensor kit (black from anywhere) and also buy the silver (sensor only) from online and then modify yourself. it is just two wires you have to cut and join. Or you can always spray the black sensor but I don't think it will look nice. please see the links. Congrats on your new EB in advanceThanks first! Just note: did you think about the warranty issue(It might void if you install sensors)! http://www.lelong.com.my/waja-reverse-sens...3-02-Sale-P.htm http://www.lelong.com.my/myvi-reverse-sens...7-01-Sale-I.htm http://www.lelong.com.my/reverse-sensor-2-...7-01-Sale-I.htm |

So stupid from Proton to remove the reverse sensors. Camera removed I agree but to remove a RM100 item in such a big car with very hard rear view is bullshit.

QUOTE(joefbi @ Jan 21 2013, 05:16 PM) hi guys, my EB CFE got problem with ABS indicator on... If the fault is with the ABS pump then there is now way they can reset the ECU to resolve the problem unless they remove the abs indicator light from the dashboard last two weeks it only lights some times...on and off... but last couple of days the indicator just lights all the time when switch is on and never came off until switch off. i cant feel i will affects the driving, brake is ok... but dunno if the ABS -EBD is working or not because scare to test braking... but really anonying see the dashboard with the ABS indicator on... so, what is the real problem about this? i think if bring to SC they ONLY reset or clear the fault error in the ECU... but not resolve the actual problem...(but not bring to SC yet just wanna ask 1st before go to SC, scare will be cheated about this... So my advise just go and see what happens, by the way you have no other choice than proton SC, so what to do |
