I loved the demo but I'm not sure whether SRPG would last me very long?

This is what I mean:

Cut Scene -> Battle -> Cut Scene -> Movie -> Cut Scene -> Battle -> repeat

No exploration, no world map, weak story (?)

Help me out here, I can't decide whether to pre order or not

Yeah, you're right, but I meant traditional 3D world map where we can walk around or ride transportation FF7 or Ninokuni style.. you say we can go wherever we want, but is there actually a field we can move around, besides the world map & battle map? maybe walk to a weapon shop instead of selecting from the menu?

don't get me wrong, i really like Fire Emblem and TRPG in general.. i can't wait to start developing characters and the various combat classes is kinda refreshing. but I'm just scared it will get old after awhile (like other TRPGs). But then again, I guess this type of game (Cutscene -> Battle -> repeat) is perfect for portable gaming

Pbb said its either Thursday or Friday so normally i would wait patiently but im going away on a road trip whole of next week so i need to get fire emblem before then.. with the chinese new year holiday around and whatnot, i guess i just dont want to take any chances.

besides, $40 prepaid would work out around rm141.60 so its not that bad, considering i can carry one less catridge around ^^

What difficulty & mode u guys gonna go for? I'm thinking Normal + Classic or Hard + Casual but probably gonna go for the former.
Also what are ur choice for the character build? I think mine is gonna be +Mag / -Res or +Mag / -Luk .. hmm can't really decide..

Got Marth from the free dlc.. the map was quite fun, a lot of legacy characters.. And that old guy is really funny lol..

Now only chapter 5.. my healer (lissa) is far ahead of everyone now, lvl 12 while others still lvl 4~6.. Hopefully after this i can alternate between her n marribelle.

Since i play male avatar, not quite sure if i shud lvl up Donnel.. his damage is so damn low lol, so troublesome xD

Been abusing the DLC map to get villager items and lvl up everyone up to lvl 10~13.. also got my Donnel to lvl 17 and had him reclassed to Mercenary.. i take my word back, its so fun to lvl him up! He's becoming stronger and stronger due to his insane growth rate because of the Aptitude skill!

Gratz! More physical copies should start arriving today and tomorrow.. hope more ppl can start playing this amazing game n post their progress

Oh btw, Yore 2 ($2.50) & bundle pack (1-3 for $4) DLCs are out, but i think i will pass for now.. Make sure u guys get Yore 1 though (free until 6th of March).

Champions of Yore 1 is 27blocks, and the 2nd one is 30...
which is equals to 30 x 128kb = 3840kb = 3.75mb

The game is beautiful, the 3D actually has very good depth, wonderful story with lots of plot twists, the English translation is more humorous than its original Japanese dialogues, loving and interesting characters that you actually care about and not to mention all of the cinematic are simply stunning..! I can't stop playing ever since I got the game last Tuesday!

eh, i probably should stop here cuz i'm starting to feel that i'm further poisoning instead of making u guys feel better

Spotpass: You only need a wireless internet connectiom to download new bonus teams, items n maps on weekly basis.
Streetpass: You need other ppl with the game in yr area to recruit/fight his team or buy his items.

Dont worry about master seal, u will be able to buy it freely from normal shop once u reach chap 13. Also I usually only advance class at lvl 20 instead of 10 or 15 because the internal level will be 21 regardless.

For Donnel, just pair him up with Fredy or Kellam and let him get all the kills. Once he class change, he will be one of ur strongest unit (though his cap stats is lower than the others).

While I skipped buying previous Yore DLC, Golden Pack ($6) is an absolute must buy because it contains the following:
1. Golden Gaffe is a money grind map, around 72k per run. i have max money after some runs and have no idea what to do with them lol. its pretty good map to grind exp as well because the enemies only looking to escape instead of attacking u.. free kills, free kills everywhere!
2. EXPonential Growth will be a very, very good exp grind map
3. Infinite Regalia will be a lengendary weapon grind map
What more could u ask for? haha

Anyway last Friday to my suprise I had 2 streetpass teams appeared on my map, Dranys (lvl 14 male tactician) & Rayle (lvl 4 female). I easily fought and recruited them both because they were pretty low level. I think they were randomly generated team because they don't have the game but i'm not entirely sure.. hmm.

I'm on only Chapter 18 now.. married my MU to Olivia because she's the cutest of them all, loved the support conversations between the two waiting for her to get Galeforce (almost there) before I recruit our son and daughter

Wow u guys are crazy haha. rid88, can u check the total time on ur activity log, i think u must have spent a lot more than 40hrs!

I got a few more streetpass teams, they are pretty strong with full 2nd gen party members .. the super strong ones i just recruited them by paying money instead of fighting since i got unlimited golds lol.. but how do we know they area real team or not?

Anyway, the EXPonential Growth map has been released.. it gives very, very good exp for low level members.. but quite sucky for my main party.. oh well i guess its time to lvl up those abandoned characters like a certain Mr Freddy

Anyone bought the new Bloodlines DLC Pack? Apparently the 2nd map allow male characters to change to a new Demon Fighter class, and 3rd one gives Paragon skill which grants double exp when equipped.. ermm quite tempting..
