Yum, just upgraded to ICS (finally) with Wanamlite. Yeah, I know it's just a deodexed (and lightened) Sammy leaked ICS XWLPF, but hell it's been fast and stable so far with Apex. IMHO a much better transition from VR3 compared if I went AOSP or AOKP.

Modded and loaded it up with all mods I NEED as per my old faithful VillanRom 3.0 (skinned SystemUI, Kavi's mods, more freezing and uninstalling of stuff), and now it's back to being the reliable SGS2 I know and love.

Except it's so much smoother and faster now with hardware acceleration it's not even funny anymore. I even managed to hack the Beats Audio drivers in lol.

Yay to the TouchJizz framework.

Well, stuff's been hell stable so far. So much so that I think going to an S3 JUST for the DAC, HD Screen and Camera might not be worth the money.

At least not yet.

upgrade to ICS:
- smooth usage
- no camera hang
- latest android 4.0

stay with GB:
- placebo effect of seeing 900MB ram

Now Samsung should:
1. ICS update (fix, tune and improve)
2. Touchwiz update!! Just like SIII!!!
3. Please don't Jellybean. I know RAM will BOOM with Jellybean.

With these, SII still can stand for more than 3 years more.

root.zip unzip it in the recovery mode .. how ?

Laggy. Probs with my contacts. Eats up my memory compared to GB. Hence trying rooting to try to solve this issues (was there in GB but with ICS seems worse!)

I love ICS. Again, battery drain too fast. Will revert back to 2.3.6 later. Cant afford a phone which only can last 12-14hours on light internet use only. sigh.

Just got back my S2 from repair, the whole motherboard was replaced. My wifi is now working like a charm

My S2 was rooted before this, format it back to stock firmware and reset the flash counter using usb jig before sending it back to warranty.

Send my S2 for repair on 22nd June and I got it back today. I can see a lot of people at the service center earlier, some even sent their S3 for repair

S3 battery Li-Ion 2100 mAh, dun know can use in S2 or not?

i wonder how s3 users gona feel lol. just enter the market then must play the waiting game for JB edi
