I've seen a few Samsung Outlets selling them lately. Think the one in Sunway Pyramid has. Saw as well in a fe other places but cant recall where. Quite pricey.

Added on June 7, 2012, 1:43 pmJust updated my Non-G to ICS via kies. Having some issues with the contacts even though syncronized to my gmail & office server. The names comes & go even though i manually sync them again.

Noob Question.

1st time trying to root my S2 Non G. Went through 1st page. Have downloaded Odin. Looking for the CF Root file. I found 2 relevant ones listed in the xda page.

CF-Root-SGS2_XW_KPN_LP9-v5.4-CWM5.zip
CF-Root-SGS2_DX_SIN_LP9-v5.4-CWM5.zip

Which one should i take? My kernel is I9100DXLP9

For those using Stock DXLP9, what is your feedback?

Good?
*
Laggy. Probs with my contacts. Eats up my memory compared to GB. Hence trying rooting to try to solve this issues (was there in GB but with ICS seems worse!) rclxub.gif

Well, thats my experience.

Lol? Why so complicated? Just update your phone at your own home by using kies.
Backup is recommended but if you update through Kies, nothing will be wiped.
*
Yup. Updated mine on Kies. Evrything was still there. Just make sure you backup before updating. Of course backup via Kies takes foreveeerrrrrr.... doh.gif

Those who worry about RAM, just ignore it and use the phone heavily for 2 days without looking the RAM for once. Then talk here.
*
I have been. Generally is ok. But it has it occassional sluggishness in opening some apps. Not sure because of what. Will try to restart and see if any difference.

Follow the steps on Page 1. I was in the same boat. Followed it to the letter and it worked! If you're still uncomfortable, search on youtube. They'll also have a step by step guide. Good luck!
