Our difference: Mine is G and i got 6xx ram.. G version..................

Need help from bros since I'm not familiar w/ non G's custom roms...

My friend bought an AP non G and he wants me to help him update... I'm planning to flash latest official ICS 4.0.4 then root + CWM... but any stable custom roms + kernels these days??

I'm on ParanoidAndroid 1.1 and siyah v3.2.7.2 right now, had a problem last night when i tried to enter recovery mode using ROM Manager. It restarting my phone and after samsung logo (also with yellow triangle) then it just blank with dim light on whole screen and just blinking like that! Had try to removed battery and restart the phone normaly, and its the same. Try to use combination key to enter recovery pun still the same...

What to do ya?

Guys why my rooted non G stock ICS  rom  switch off 2-3 times by itself a day. I ve done factory reset/clean battery contact. Clean dalvik/cache but still same problem. Pls advice. Thx

So for a non-gamer who looks for a better battery life and (hopefully) lower phone operating temperature, one should opt for the I9100G instead of I9100?

I'd opt for the G-version. I'm not a gamer, and I'd prefer a lower standby operating temperature with a longer battery life. Imagine how much you can do with an hour of extra HD video-playback time!

Can remove yellow triangle with Triangle Away apk?

u can see it with titanium backup or any backup apps, freeze it then unfreeze it.

using ota if fc you must go into cwm and choose fix permission wan. its mentioned in the steps wert.
also everytime you flash paranoid you must flash back hybrid gapps

Also done fix permission and flashing hybrid gapps, but still the same (google play available after flash hybrid, but fc in several app still occurred) Haizzz, had to flash new one again nampaknya ni...

ah..meant need to install all the app again

this is suppose to be honeycomb problem.
well i heard ICS suppose join honeycomb and gingerbread.

dint realize the include this stupid BUG in ics also.
basically they want the wallpaper to be abit to fit in landscape and portrait.

so whatever pic you set also, it will force you to crop somewhere inside it.
really dumb in my opinion.

Navigation still NOT enable in official gmaps 6.8.1. Can get direction but no navigation.

Anyone?

The only change I can see for now is that they added the "Contacts" tab back in inside "Phone" when you want to make calls. It wasn't there before when first ungraded to ICS.

Yeah Chrome is really awesome. But unfortunately still unstable. Laggy and crashed a few times on heavy flash site.. still Beta anyway.

Jellybean is out! S3 getting it soon..
