QUOTE(aladdin @ Jun 20 2012, 07:37 PM) Cant find betterbatterystats in play store. Did you notice the post that I reply you, the app name "BetterBatteryStats" is clickable? It's the hyperlink to the thread at XDA forum..download there and its free..Baseband version I9100DXLP9 Kernel Version 3.0.15-I9100DXLP9-CL431438 dpi@DELL176#3 Seems like your phone is not root, therefore, there are limitation for system tweaking in order to improve performance and battery saving This post has been edited by Lineage: Jun 21 2012, 01:08 AM |

QUOTE(jesh @ Jun 21 2012, 07:41 AM) After upgrade to ICS since the OTA available in Malaysia and I found it drain battery dramatically, full charged before i go to bed second morning mostly 15-20% battery gone, all connections are off. You can try Siyah Kernel 3.3.2..Any recommended kernal for best battery life? Finally beh tahan to flash a kernal. I am on stock rom currently and still not plan to flash rom yet, stable is a point to me but just lazy to do those backup and restore |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 25 2012, 11:04 PM) actually i'm confuse as well. CM9 seems like samsung ICS that is lacking more features. Can you please share what ROM and theme you using? no wifidirect,no fm radio,no swipe to call and sms, no complete video codec, but for some reason it seems like a geek trend to use it, so call pure android. cm9 suppose to be light and runs faster, but i dont really feel a big difference in speed. but cm9 does looks much better, the whole theme and UI look. i use samsung rom with theme similar to cm9, so best of both world for me |

Flash NeatRomLite + ICS DOMINATION v4.5 with Jkay..
The result is just up to my expectation..fast and smooth..battery saving wise still under observation but not noticeable draining for the past 18 hours.. |

QUOTE(mtxx @ Jun 26 2012, 10:47 PM) Hi, you're using the same rom setup as me. Yeah..NeatRomLite v1.2 really good..stable..smooth..and fast.. But the time I flash, don't have neat lite. I flash the neat default version. Lots of samsung crap. I uninstall all the nonsense app, freed 200+mb in system storage. So mine considered neat lite also in a way. Haha, Now I use ThunderBolt! v2.7.7..it's even better in performance.. I can see the battery saving is really really good..will post some screenshot for my coming battery test Remarks : If you plan to use ThunderBolt! for NeatRom, please remove all the scripts in init.d except for the S98MassStorage.. QUOTE(byfc2010 @ Jun 27 2012, 10:32 AM) Guys, I'm on NeatRom, and CF-ROOT. I'm using NeatRomLite v1.2 with Siyah Kernel 3.3.2..Would like to ask if anyone get kernels like siyah working on it? If i change to Siyah I would lose root. But i do hope to be using extra functions like BLN on SII. Where you heard Siyah will lose root? |

QUOTE(Ultima @ Jun 29 2012, 10:28 AM) if u take out the battery for a long time, it will reset iianm.. but if just for a short while i dun think so... Erm..few minutes consider long time? tht applies to older phone, but mine not reset when i take out the battery for 90 sec.. QUOTE(ndragon @ Jun 29 2012, 10:30 AM) there should be a small battery on ur motherboard that support the time when the battery is out.. just like the pc.. not sure though.. Yeah..I know there is a small battery in our motherboard..just curious whether it's worn out already..yesterday take out for few minutes, then date and time reset.. but not to worry.. since this is a smart phone.. u can always choose to sync time on9 with network provider.. so ur time will always be the same with the network provider.. so either it reset or not.. it does not matter to me.. =P |
