There could be chances that I only need to pay tax to the country I based in for the time being..
*
yes..what i'm saying that..if u do work in SG for >2 months but less than 183 days..u will be tax..at a flat 15% rate!!...and normally what payroll will do is that they will deduct that 15% off from your salary!!

I was just wondering if I could be ended up paying tax to both country UK and SG.

The tax in the UK is based on the salary range, can range from 20% to 50% if not mistaken sweat.gif
*
dont need to wonder further...SG side for sure will need to..unless u work for less than 60 days as stated on IRAS website.
Like I said..payroll will probably deduct 15% from your monthly salary. And you can only get it back the following year...

UK wise idk...but i'm sure the tax rates are MUCH MUCH higher...easily 20%

hi, let's say a EP holder want to resign and get another job in sg, what would the proper way to do it? Cancel current EP and let future employer apply new EP? How long it will take? Thanks
*
Yes..normally this is how its done...your current company HR will cancel the EP...then your future employer will need to apply a new EP...how long it depends? can take u within a week to a month or 2 for a reply? As WHAT IF MOM rejects your new company's EP application...
