RM 2499? Seriously? Which shops carry this model? The notebook pricelists doesn't seem to have it there.

Intel likes to use vineyard areas to name their chipsets...such as Sonoma and Napa Valley, they're both famous vineyard areas in US...

Ohhhh... I see... it is the chipset and not the processor core... anyway dual processor should be consuming the battery like crazy unless they can come up with some way of conserving the battery or implementing a higher capacity battery.

IINM, the dual core processor is smart enough to only run 1 processor when need and automatically rests the other...only when running multiple programs then it will activate dual core...am i right guys? wink.gif

I dont know about this , but I think laptop prices will drop..trust me , the old Pentium-M chips (Centrino , etc , are gonna drop)..So if you're getting a new laptop , just wait for new Dual Core lappies to be out , then old lappies will go for cheap (with great graphics card , e.g X600 etc)

Intel Centrino Mobile Technology sticker is just another way Intel try to dominant laptop market.

the new 1 will be Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with Intel Core Solo Processor & Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology with Intel Core Duo Processor.but still havent support WIMAX.
