Blizz won't restore items/gold if it's due to negligence. However, since we're talking about Athene here...

Btw, Athene is just trolling gamers. He's cocky and a show-off in the gaming world, but a lot of players know that all that is just for show. He makes money out of the publicity.

He said that the login screw up was a troll too, but I dont think it is.
I saw the stream, and he was being deflective, stuttering, was touching his ears all of which pointing that he was lying.

I mean Im not an expert at micro expression or anything, its just that hes a bad liar.
