What's with the synapse? Even the black widow got issue rite? If only there is a light for the scroll wheel of the DA black edition like the mamba, it would definitely looks awesome.

If you install Synapse, you won't be able to update the mouse firmware either. Synapse isn't complete yet, or requires more testing, etc. You won't find much options for your mouse there, I was pretty disappointed after installing it and wondered how the DA refresh could suck so much in options, but then I decided to take to the net.

So after searching online, found some threads that said to just use the normal drivers (which basically update your firmware version as well to 1.x)

Does anybody here encounter mouse cursor moving bcoz of sound vibration coming from pc speakers??
I notice the mouse itself is not moving, so i suspect sometimes when the sound vibration is so great ( like deep bass )
it vibrate the laser inside the mouse?? HOw to solve a??
*
I made my assumption for what happened in your case is actually not because of the vibration of the speaker.
Instead, the sensor actually bit over sensitive and I was acknowledged this problem as jitter issue. Try with different mousepad and surfaces may solve this problem.

Hi guys, I'm planning to get a lachesis but saw taipan like not bad.
Any idea on how taipan will feel compared to lachesis? Sadly don't see any pc shops put out the mouse already.

The drivers are fine, just Synapse needs a little more development.

Since some mice have on-board memory, wonder why they came up with the synapse?

Personally don't like Lachesis shape, this mouse simply too lengthy for me.

Until now most of the feedback for Taipan still positive, worth you to try I think. PS: comfy or not always personal preference.

i used synapse previously, every time i started my PC and enter windows, the mouse cursor will freeze a few seconds before moving again to load the apps. its quite annoying as it happened every time i switch on the PC.

so i uninstalled it and just use the normal driver for my DA. no more cursor freeze during start up. sweat.gif

by the way, using synapse i could adjust my DPI to any numbers i want, but using normal driver, it is preset to 4 setting only? 450dpi, 900dpi, 1800dpi and 3500dpi?

On driver ver 3.01, firmware 2.44.

depends on what grip style u use bro smile.gif , lachesis forces the user to palm it because of its longer design and impossible for fingertip style, but if u are the fingertip or claw grip style i suggest you go for taipan biggrin.gif (really, go for one that suits ur grip style, you wont regret choosing the 1 which is right for ur grip style)

??
the left side of the keyboard is EXTENDED to accomodate the macro keys.
if its shorter of cos no more space for the keys tongue.gif

for me, i dont use macros at all, so i find them irritating since it 'moves' the WASD in relation to the edge of the keyboard.
