Hi guys, I'm planning to get a lachesis but saw taipan like not bad.
Any idea on how taipan will feel compared to lachesis? Sadly don't see any pc shops put out the mouse already.
*
depends on what grip style u use bro smile.gif , lachesis forces the user to palm it because of its longer design and impossible for fingertip style, but if u are the fingertip or claw grip style i suggest you go for taipan biggrin.gif (really, go for one that suits ur grip style, you wont regret choosing the 1 which is right for ur grip style)

the left side of the keyboard is EXTENDED to accomodate the macro keys.
if its shorter of cos no more space for the keys tongue.gif

for me, i dont use macros at all, so i find them irritating since it 'moves' the WASD in relation to the edge of the keyboard.
*
blink.gif haha sorry i din knew about that. guess i have to readapt to the new layout sweat.gif

the new keyboard ultimate damn expensive, non ultimate also expensive as its non mechanic..

the new headset also quite pathetic.. the black colour looks great.. but black colour seems available in the cheaper version ( no mic )

hahhaha bully
*
some ppl might prefer laptop styled keys for typing tongue.gif .. but then for the non ultimate version .. at least got few macro keys unlike lycosa biggrin.gif.. maybe got tri-color lighting oso like the ultimate 1

Yea, its a finger print magnet the BWU  doh.gif . The BWU Stealth is quieter and doesnt really have that tactile feeback, i mean you dont have to really press down as hard as the BWU. The Matte finish is a +1, no finger prints!  icon_idea.gif

If you buy several items then most probably they will give you discount. Can get from lingloong or idealtech or bluerhinoit here in GS, very good sellers. Done several transactions from them. Another option is to look at Steelseries mechanical keyboards, i.e. the 6Gv2 or 7G (Can get from heavyarm)

Wow, thank you so much for your valuable input bro!!
Much appreciated~
Now I know what to do  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
the 2013 version of blackwidows are all all in matte, no more gloss. so the difference of bwus and bwu 2013 is the switches and the color of led, as well as led intensity (the area around the keycaps are alot brighter for 2013 bwu) smile.gif

The BWU 2013 is using MX Blues? hmm.gif

I guess the only thing holding me back from getting the 2013 version is the green lights.. I don't like green (yeah I know its a lame reason) doh.gif haha~
*
yap mx blues. im actually wanting to buy the 2013 version too, but im using orochi with blue led's.. green doesnt match sad.gif.

LOL, just noticed its a Roccat, sorry for my noobness doh.gif
Those kind of stands useful ar?  hmm.gif
*
those kind of stands are only useful if you think the wires are a hindrance and want something to keep it off the surface... roccat apuri comes with 4 usb port to use as well. but again, u can get 10 usb hub at a less cheaper price. (gotta admit it looks very cool though biggrin.gif )

does mamba gives problem? why they are so less ppl talked abt it?
*
imo mamba is a good mouse, but not for that kind of price smile.gif

QUOTE(RaymondMZ @ Sep 10 2012, 10:16 PM)
So mamba is those who need wireless and high dpi(so high got what use?) so if just needed wire and lower DPI should just choose DA?
*
same shape, same ergo, 2 buttons less, less the wireless option, less the dpi's. but i would say DA has better tracking if you are using it under 2000 dpi. the sensors used in mamba have known z-axis issues (doesn't happen to my orochi though, same brand of sensor with mamba but different models).

Skip the update. Do check your firmware. If it is at v0.00, then don't update. You'll have to email Razer for a manual firm update if you want, or I suggest you wait until it is fixed. Lotsa crappy update from Synapse nowadays.
*
i just uninstalled synapse for my bw expert. turning my non caps to caps and shift isn't working. i wonder why hmm.gif

Still in beginning Q4, doubt it's gonna be here any soon.
*

Hi guys thinking of getting a Razer Blackwidow Tournament...any comments be it good or bad from you guys about it?
*
well.. for me,
pros:
-detachable cable
-smaller form factor
-matte finish
-the price
-braided cables

subjectives,
-tenkeyless
-green led
-blue switches
-font used
-shorter layout? windows key seems smaller

i don't think cons are needed as they are rather subjective as suggested above. those are all my personal opinions so some will not agree or completely disagree with me.

and i'll be getting one of this once i get rid of my current blackwidow expert biggrin.gif

Thanks! I have been looking at a few Razer mice models and I think I am leaning more towards buying the DeathAdder BE. I don't like Orochi because it uses Bluetooth which is not supported on my laptop, and Naga looks too cumbersome and complicated with all those buttons. I haven't seen a Lachesis but asked around and this model name came up.
*
what's important is the type of your grip too. orochi for finger grips, naga for claw grips, lachesis/da for palm grips, some do claw their da and orochi though smile.gif . naga is actually smaller than da, have looked at naga hex?

QUOTE(Hitman190 @ Oct 16 2012, 02:01 AM)
Thanks dude, I actually like the blue switches  tongue.gif . But the best thing for me is the price.  nod.gif
*
you won't go wrong with it if you don't need numpad smile.gif, it's a good deal at that price point.

want to ask how can i use razer mamba after full recharge? did the warranty cover on the charger as well? better i go for used razer mamba or new razer orichi black chorome ?
*
first of all do you really need a wireless mouse? smile.gif you could take a look at razer da which spots the same shape as mamba with mamba being slightly flatter. i have orochi black chrome but it attracts too much fingerprint. and a thing to consider, if you decide to run it on battery, x2 AA batteries will bring it's weight over 18x gram which is quite heavy to operate and lift the mouse due to it's size.

Anyone using Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth ? Is the plastic same quality with the Ultimate version?
*
i think its the same, razer won't produce another set of plastic just because it's on different model, they're all in matte finish smile.gif

Hello any thoughts about the naga hex? Usually use it for fps, moba games , mmo( gw2) , d3...
*
not really suited for fps games but the others you mentioned, yeah.

Just got myself a Deathadder 3.5G off the web for RM155 with only after discount. With free shipping too.

I guess that's the best deal on the web currently?

But I bought it for the ergonomics not for the sensor though. Heard not so good things about them sensors.
*
da have one of the best optical sensors out there smile.gif, no worries, people usually complain abt imperator/mamba sensors only
