Earlier today, we let you guys know that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be arriving for our neighbors to the north (Canada), starting June 20th. What we didn’t tell you is that the specs for the Canadian GS3 feature a few noteworthy items different from the international model. Just as we suspected, yes, the quad-core Exynos processor is gone, replaced instead with a more North American LTE friendly dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor. But here’s the juicy part — the Samsung Galaxy S3 for America Jr. (and hopefully America Sr. as well) will feature 2GB of multi-tasking RAM, which I would like to point out, now officially trumps my 1 year old netbook. Crazy times we live in.

HD Movies (7-8gb per average length movie), FLAC musics(300-400mb per album),

8MP photo and 1080p recording takes up quite a lot of space too.

And if you're into emulators, Ps1 games used quite a lot of space too(big titles like FF will usually take 400-500mb per disc).

In the end, I guess it depends actually. If you already have a dedicated camera, music player, portable game console, tablet(for viewing movies?), then 64gb for just a phone is too much.

But if you're poor like me and need an all-in-1 device, 64gb is hardly enough.

The S3(and GNex) can support exFAT

So no more 4gb limitation
