I have been patiently waiting for the Tango update since duno how many "thousands" years ago. Until this date, I just can't tahan anymore. I'm wondering, if I force update my lumia 800, is it official ? Is it stable ? Anyone can tell ?

I am not sure whether marketplace using with the phone and the phone region are the same thing or not. I can say, I'm using SG marketplace and I still cannot get the camera extras.

I'm thinking whether to pay that much for 1 iDefense or Zagg Shield or use my RM10 plastic back casing, since it was so cheap and I bought 2 and still using the first one. I prefer Zagg over iDefense somehow. OR not buying so I have a reason to buy WP8 phone. XP

QUOTE(DavidWKW @ Aug 2 2012, 08:30 PM) Oh, that means I will be having one new microsim for lumia and my old sim for my old phone at the same time? How much will be a microsim a? Thank you 1 number cannot have 2 sim card working at the same time. There are 3 ways to own a Microsim. 1. You go to "phone shops" and they will help u cutting your current sim card with a special cutter. Normally, this is free. 2. You go to ur Telco centre (eg. DiGi Centre, Maxis Centre, Celcom Centre, UMobile Centre) and claim a new one. This will cost you around RM10. 3. Your old sim card will not be working. OR You bring ur current sim card to the telco centre and let them cut for you. Normally this is free. This post has been edited by v1900130: Aug 2 2012, 08:40 PM

QUOTE(DavidWKW @ Aug 2 2012, 10:05 PM) So, from the previous comments in this post, it will be better NOT to have the sim card cut right? So, it will be better to buy an adapter? Adapter just seems like the cut-out part of normal sim card? So, the advantage of using an adapter is less chances of damaging the microsim? How much does it cost for an adapter a? I have another "sim card" sticks on my phone's sim card. It is for bank usage. So, if I'm going to have a microsim, I wouldn't be able to get the bank service on my phone right? Does it mean I should opt to cut the sim card? Or cutting it wouldn't help either? Thank you Cutting the sim card out has higher chance to damage the chip on the sim card. let's get this straight. Microsim is the smaller sim. In order to use microsim for "normal sim card phone", we need the adapter. We dun have adapter to make Normal sim card to microsim card. What bank service ? Do you mean those requesting security codes or TAC ? If yes, that's following your phone number not the sim.

QUOTE(DavidWKW @ Aug 2 2012, 11:14 PM) So, it doesn't matter I cut or I buy a new sim card, I will still need to buy an adapter to use it as a normal sim? Or I can actually use the cut out part of the normal sim card and fix it back to use as a normal sim card? For the bank service, it's actually like a sticker which has the same size as normal sim card. Only when I stick the "sticker" on my sim card, the service will be available, which means I can access my bank account using just my phone. And I was told that the sticker is only for one-time usage, which means I can't take out and stick to another sim card. So, will it be bbetter to have the sim card cut in my case? Or cutting the sim card would not help either? Thank you In that confusing case, I suggest you that to check with your bank and the telco, whether cutting the sim will cause damage to the "sticker" or not...

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Aug 5 2012, 11:01 AM) sir, you might wanna participate Guiness's World Record for being "The Longest Battery Smartphone Usage" title. lol. Added on August 5, 2012, 11:08 amThe weather channel from Nokia is quite useful. Better than Accuweather and the Microsoft weather. This post has been edited by v1900130: Aug 5 2012, 11:08 AM

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Aug 5 2012, 11:39 AM) Yes, certainly looks good with the implemented social feature and augmented reality. Yet doesn't support live tile so I'd say I still prefer Microsoft's Weather app. It isn't ? I think it is supported coz I'm using it.

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Aug 5 2012, 11:55 AM) maybe you're right, it does support live tile. Forgive me I thought you have to set the live tile in the app settings. I'm not sure whether it will update the weather and location itself, I just started to use it last night. It seems better than the microsoft one. I think to show the live tile, just tap and hold on the "location" that u want to display as a live tile.

Suspecting the Zune problem. There was once I couldn't launch Zune. I launched Zune and it went back to the main screen. I had been like that until I restart the phone. O.o
