Thanks tatatan
I think not the case now.. only limited business ie food supply can operate from home according to their latest (as of Aug 2012) changes.. really hard nowdays
not sure if virtual office is considered as online premise
"Tidak dibenarkan beroperasi menggunakan alamat pejabat maya (On- Line), Peti Pos (P.O.Box), mailing box office services dan lain-lain premis dimana kesahihan dan keupayaan syarikat sukar ditentukan"

QUOTE(1996samyaw @ Dec 31 2012, 12:25 PM) Lemon, Can you provide me, your company's website site to me for referrence, please? Checked McOffice packages, still quite expensive as compared to vOffice. I have just registered vOffice for another business, so now I have 2 companies registered with vOffice, and one is with Regus. Once my Regus contract expires in March, I will switch over to vOffice again. Address is still more prestigious than McOffice. If you want I can get the manager to prepare a special quotation for you. This post has been edited by Jordy: Jan 10 2013, 12:18 AM

QUOTE(Jordy @ Jan 10 2013, 12:18 AM) Once my Regus contract expires in March, I will switch over to vOffice again. Address is still more prestigious than McOffice. FYI, you need 3 months advanced notice as stated in their contract terms & conditions which most people won't bother to read. If you cancel 2 months before the contract end, they will ask you to pay for the whole year (because the contract will auto-renew). I have bad experience with them and no room for negotiation as they will email to threaten you that failure to do so they reserve the right to list the account with a credit information bureau. Suggest to consider other providers, be it vOffice, Servcorp, apbcOffices & many others. I've a friend just signed up Servcorp 30 days trial, will ask him to post the feedback here. http://virtualoffice.servcorp.com.my/I'm now looking into serviced office in KL, anyone have good recommendation? I did notice that we need to give a 3 months notice to them, but I fell victim to that term in the end when I forgot about the timeframe due to my busyness. Just passed the timeframe about 2 weeks, and no appeal would be entertained. They also wouldn't care to give the clients a gentle reminder that they would trigger the auto-renewal. I've been with vOffice for 2 of my other companies and so far I have had positive feedback for them. I would recommend it if you are serious of looking into renting a serviced office.

I had some dealings with The Nomad Offices before, decent customer services, somewhat reasonable prices. What I like about them is speedy replies to inquiries.

QUOTE(jonidona @ May 25 2012, 06:28 PM) voffice.com.my actually offers Flexifax too where you can just send and receive faxes just with your email address. It's free in my Platinum subscription then I can just receive faxes unlimited and can send faxes internationally for very low rates. I use this Flexifax service and their service is currently very bad. Last month, I used their service to send fax and after an hour, my customer still didn't get my fax. This month, it's even worse! I send a few faxes to different numbers in 2 days and all faxes cannot reach the receivers. End up, I have to conventionally use TM line to send and the conventional way didn't disappoint me.

If you want I can get the manager to prepare a special quotation for you. How did you overcome the requirement to display your business registration certificate, sales tax license or have a signage with your company name? Theses are all requirement by law for business or companies. I noticed most VO providers, do not cover in their package such services. I find it strange.

QUOTE(Jordy @ Dec 10 2012, 10:21 PM) Although there may seem to be too many fake feedback here regarding vOffice, I would like to share my own testimony. One of my company is using Regus, and another one is using vOffice, and I can concur what the "fakers" said. Although vOffice may be a smaller establishment than Regus or ServCorp, I actually do like their customer service, and also their efficiency. But the most important factor that made me choose vOffice is due to their price. My contract for Regus will end on March next year, and I will not renew with them ever again. I am considering to move it over to vOffice upon expiration. As one forumer said, Regus has too many hidden clauses/costs which were not properly represented by the so-called sales manager. I learned my lesson after this incident. Hi Jordy. My name is Carlo and I work for Regus. We’d be happy to listen to your needs, so if we can still help, please contact us at customer.service@regus.com. Our dedicated Customer Service team is available for any request. We thank you for your feedback, which can only help us improve.

QUOTE(nyuc @ Nov 22 2012, 01:16 PM) I've tried Regus. Not recommended. The blood sucker and too many hidden clauses. Google around. You can find some good promo, such as http://www.servcorp.com.my/en/virtual-offices/ http://www.apbcoffices.com/main/virtual-offices/http://www.ada2u.com/& etc... Hi nyuc. My name is Carlo and I work for Regus. I am sorry to read you were not satisfied with our service. Our dedicated customer service team would be happy to assist you and clarify any doubt. Please feel free to contact us at customer.service@regus.com.

Regus is charging premium for service offices. You can see like 40-50% difference versus other service offices. The size in terms of sqft also much smaller for that 40-50% higher price.
They are also not flexible to customers' need.
Regus will be better for bigger corporations...

QUOTE(ck23 @ Aug 14 2013, 10:17 PM) Sorry for silly question, normally what kinda business would opt for virtual office? If you're a freelancer working from home and you want to look established so that your clients trust you. You then sign-up for a vritual office to have a nice address (instead of your home address) and a phone number in the city, where a secretary answers the calls for you. You can learn everything about Virtual Office here.
