Hi all, I just got my silver babe this morning, took sometimes in JPJ to get the geran & roadtax issued; and checking the interior & exterior on my car.

So far so good, I not yet test the car performance as the MRR2 jam like hell just now; also not sure if my car having any noise issue.

My car also has no rubber on the windscreen.

remember to check every inch of your babe.
ensure all rubber securely fasten.

check door panel, window rubber lining, door rubber seal, glove box, secret compartment...and so on.

which batch were your babe?
*
Okay, will check carefully on those rubber thingy.

My babe was on 1st batch, chasis no: 27xx. Still feel a bit sluggish, after 1.5rpm is okay.
Engine start feel smooth, air-con very cold, console seems okay, usb port working fine (i brought my mp3 songs for testing), speaker sound looks okay to me, lights all okay...what else. hmm.gif

Things not yet test:
- bluetooth connection
- GPS, navigation map looks correct
- engine performance
- fuel consumption

So far just found out my dashboard got a bit sound "ngmm ngmm" when pressing pedal hard.

Where do you guys do your car tint? have you guys ever heard of the brand or shop called 3S? It's in Kepong. Want to ask if anybody got experience with them.
*
I din go tint for 2nd layer eventhough my SA gave me the discount voucher as it may void warranty for your ecotint. I tin the original one is good enough.

Hi guys, just wondering which SC do u guys go when your baby hit 1k service?
Any different between the small SC (shop lot) and big SC (factory size)?
Can small SC technician has the expertise to do the ECU remap & FC tuning?
My car going to hit 1k soon, any recommendation which SC to go?

I think there's a difference between a big SC and a small SC. A big SC is definitely well-equipped as well have more expertise and advantage in term of their staff number. I remember my SA told me that Preve is no longer a car that can be tuned/serviced by local foreman. Better send it to those 3S centre one as they can accurately tune your car.

Regarding which SC, I think we minght need a list here. So far as I remembered, I'll put down in a list below:

1. COE / COSE Subang
2. Proton SC Senawang
3. ....

Forgot already... sweat.gif

Thanks for your quick reply. notworthy.gif

Ya, I guess this Preve thread should provide the SC list & the pricing too at the first post...easier for those newbie like me to look for tongue.gif
Another thing, do u make the appointment with SC before go for service? is the labor cost free? I saw the service pricing last nite but forgot to save the file.

If you ask me, I rather chose the 2nd way of starting the car. It's because I remember speaking with Proton Mechanic a few years back saying that now all car need to have an electric start first before start the engine. I.e. like in the second way of starting the car, after insert the key fob there'll be a light lit up with Amber colour when first push the start button. Then Press the brake then the light will change to green showing that system is now up & ready to start the engine..

Just my logical reasoning though. No background on Engine whatsoever. Maybe our beloved sifus, Mat, or duan, or others can enlighten this. hmm.gif

I using the 2nd way, my SA told me abt that. blush.gif

Called to 3S SC in my area, setapak this morning...no need to make appointment, just walk in.
But, the guy told me that there are no such thing ECU remapping and FC tuning...just normal service. shocking.gif
Getting confused, that's why so many car owners asking around which SC is good...haiz.

Last Full Tank = 305KM (before sent to service centre)
New Full Tank = 355Km (After sent to service centre)

I still found that the fuel consumption still high, at least it better than last time. I just pumped a full tank yesterday, see how mch it can go this round.
*
Mine 1st full tank, ODO showing 379km now, left 1 bar and estimated can last 120km...i also feel quite high the FC.
Not sure if SC can fine tune on it... hmm.gif
