For camera bag... bought a crumpler haven.. fit both camera with 45f1.5 and the kit lens nicely ... then just drop the bag to any of your existing bag will do.

The Panasonic 100-300mm lens focuses faster on my EM5 than it does on my GH2 (which my mom now owns). I do have the OIS on the lens shut off and I leave the EM5's IBIS on. I had no problem focusing through pine needles at a less-than-5-inch chipping sparrow, through grass blades at a bee, through marsh grass at an egret-in-flight (which would have been a better shot if I hadn't just turned when I spotted it and hit the shutter button trying to quick capture it. Any error there was me, not the camera.) and a yellowlegs through grass. Though I couldn't focus out the oak seeds on a Northern Parula, I did get a shot of him when he hopped to a branch (although he was still in focus behind the oak seeds, so I included that shot if it would you out). The Barn Swallow shot I took while standing in a slow-moving creek bent awkwardly under a bridge at ISO1600 SOOC JPEG, which I could not do this shot with this lens on my GH2. With more practice, my photos will get better though. I generally set the camera to the center focus point on S-AF the majority of the time. However, having those 35 boxes/regions to choose from when I poke the monitor to take a shot through branches does come in handy. GRIN. Does that help to answer your question? (P.S. For the Barn Swallow, it was dark under the bridge and the light you see in its eye is a result of the creek reflecting sunlight at its face.)
From here http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat...52&changemode=1 No problem. Pls check the lenses or the camera. The 100-300mm got new firmware. Have u update it? This post has been edited by OlgaC4: Jun 11 2012, 12:23 AM |
