Yes, I've got that ultral wide eye-popping lens. Have yet to fully tested it. Should get it if you take lots of landscape or architecture shots.

Here's a quick test the same day I've got the lens:

yes it does include a lens cap and a small carrying pouch.

I'm not too worry about it. The build-in lens hood will protect it at all time. I cover it after taken shots. I uses it only if I need to take some ultra wide perspective compositions. I don't think I'll be doing that to such a beautiful lens. It causes flares with filter on.

Most importantly, I believe is to ensure post usage cleanup is done on the lens n to ensure they r kept in dry boxes as much as can b. fungus more scary.

any GF2 users here? new to m43 just picked up a used unit to try and learn... noticed at first i could touch the screen and it will focus on the point i touch (not shutter, just green focus box) but not sure what i did now when i touch, it will give me about 4-5 yellow boxes and then i need to press halfway on shutter button then it will focus on one of the many yellow boxes in that area.

any idea?

also, just wondering if there are any threads specifically for GF2 users only? i tried searching for GF2 info here, not much....

BTW guys, do u guys experience "uneven" display on ur OLED LCD? I recently noticed in dark shooting environment, it becomes very obvious that there's like a uneven line running in the middle of my LCD. Horizontal band of uneven lighting at the middle.

Doesnt affect viewing orusage of the LCD la but im just wonder if its a normal thing.

Added on July 10, 2012, 2:55 pmWent to my local cam shop just now to test their unit their to try to compare. Ironically, i could not reproduce the problem. Shop fella said that if its not present all the time, its not really a faulty LCD which sounds quite reasonable.

Then while in the carpark basement, I tested the cam and realised its only present in low light environment. Dark or night. the problem becomes more obviously when u sent the cam to slow shutter speed in those environment.

Here is the shot i took of the camera display in a darken bed room at slow shutter speed. Notice the brighter horizontal line in the middle.
