Kenary - i was considering the raynox but in the opted to buy the Olympus 12-50mm lens as it has a macro capability though not on 1:1. Will the raynox give a better macro shot?
*
What lens do u have now? For me raynox+40-150mm give better magnification over the 12-50mm macro mode. I have both lens...

Tiada penambahan..thinking of getting samyang fisheye for landscape but my tripod broken..I need tripod more then the lens..anyway now I'm studying digiscoping / spotting scope for birding hehe..anyone here got source or where to buy or experienced can share the info..
*
I did some test and the object obvioustly bigger with the 150mm end. But the downside is the bokeh is very shallow already.. I think the M43 FB group has many sifus willingly to help u there.. Just make a simple fb acc and i'll invite u there.. smile.gif

Use flash with diffiser.. U will get sharper image.. With the 12-50mm macro mode is not enough for me.. I always use +8 filter..

reno - thanks for your feedback. your shot look great. is +8 step up filter same as close up filter +8? which brand shall i go for or you can recommend a place for me to get it. also if i used the 12-50mm lens with +8 filter can i still use AF?

this shot look great.
*
Tks.. Yup its the same.. Just get any brand will do... Im just using cheap brand china made Greene L rm30 only hehehe... I bought online at mudah.. U can also find at any camera shop.. AF is not a problem at all.. But must use flash to get sharp and crisp picture.. Kit flash is enough.. smile.gif

thanks again.

also sometime i think my macro shot is not as vibrant as you guys, its due to camera type. I am having E-PL3.
*
Its not bcos of camera type but its the way how u post processing the picture.. I always shoot raw and do final pp in lightroom.. Adjusting white balance, xposure, colour vibrant and so on.. My original image is not as nice as u saw... smile.gif

thanks guys. i shoot in JPEG + RAW format. Somehow i am lousy in post processing, a lot to learn. Hopefully will improve as time goes by.
*
Just follow ur feeling when adjusting setting in pp.. If it pleases to ur eyes, then it will also to us.. Last time I dont bothered to shoot raw but after got some advice from bro Kenary, its a must for me.. smile.gif U can always ask some basic lightroom tutorial from bro tcm7782 and bro kenary820 who are good in pp.. smile.gif
