hi guys.. i have a E-PL1 for sometimes... it has a built in flash.. thinking wanna get a better flash for it.. not pro here.. just normally use for taking dinner picture.. birthday and so on..

but with the internal flash.. the color looks so unnatural.. maybe it's my setting problem or wat ya?
*
You shoot in raw? you can adjust the colour start with white balance in post processing.

nope.. not in raw.
(condition is in restaurant, with yellowish indoor light)
the white balance i always leave it. use in P mode, without flash, colors are natural, but it goes with slow shutter and with blurry if got movement.
i on the flash, pictures are sharper, shutter goes fast, but the color.. ewwww.. so white.. not natural at all..
*
Try to shoot in raw..but only if you willing to do post processing afterward. Somehow for me post processing is require even to do some minor 2-3 min adjustment. When you use flash especially direct, commonly harsh. If bounce not possible, try to find a way to diffuse your light.

Anyway this shot AF or MF?
*
Not sifu, just sharing. I'm thinking FD lens at 1st but the I lost my finger point focus..nice feature gx1.. Without the expensive lvf2..all my pic gonna be af..go shop test it..feel right in my hand + i like the interface..on M mode the way to shift SS n F stop is by pressing the dial.. another cool feature smile.gif

Yeah, no way can beat the dedicated macro lens.. Oly 60mm macro really poison me  cry.gif
*
There is no one lens rules them all..people use macro lens cos 2 reason: 1) its prime lens & prime lens are sharp in general 2) short minimum focusing distance. So far that I'm aware of, most prime offer 1:1 magnification except Canon mpe 5x magnification. Again, its not easy to use. Correct me if I'm wrong smile.gif
