But, I couldn't control myself when I laid my eyes on that leather strap and became a happy victim. QUOTE(d@odao @ Jun 19 2012, 10:24 AM) This should be the popular question everyone have been asking in the photography... Let discus this on the m43 perspective... It is raw vs jpeg... Which format do u shoot with?... And, why... So far for me, i shoot everything in jpeg, bcoz i like the Olympus jpeg colour and i m a lazy bump... Added on June 19, 2012, 10:26 amPm poison king... depends on what i shoot. for normal things, i shoot in JPEG Fine. i only use RAW for portraitures or product shoot.

"better regret buying than regret not buying"... "buy now or buy later, u still buy. why not buy now and enjoy it earlier?" that's how i shop btw.

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Jun 21 2012, 06:33 AM) In the NEX system, when you lower or increase the aperture or shutter speed, the LCD will get darker or brighter (showing you a proper preview of the image you are going to take)... This is not the case for the PEN system. u mean live preview? i dun think so. but thats what the histogram is for.

QUOTE(sioe @ Jun 21 2012, 11:12 AM) It's with replies like this that proves our m43 thread is so helpful n good. Where else can we get users advising users to the exact page in the manual. Respect! Keep it up guys Added on June 21, 2012, 11:15 amChief, what ure asking sounds very much like what's called Live Preview that's available in Oly Pen n OMD series. Whatever we c on the LCD display changes dynamically when we alter ISo, shutter speed n aperture. Having said that, u camera setting cannot b in Auto. Make sure u set it to M, A, S or P. Hope that helps. now thats interesting...i din even know the OM-D comes with this feature... hahahaha... i learnt something new today!

QUOTE(sioe @ Jun 21 2012, 08:08 PM) OMD's flash is quite good n powerful but sadly doesn't swivel or rotate. Pitiful. Else, super nice. on-axis flash need not be so powerful one... i use my OM-D just as trigger for my 2 remote units which influence the lighting of a scene... but currently...no worthy model to actually testt he power of OM-D flash.... but i want the outcome to be something like this... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Shot this using Nikon CLS with 3 remote flash. 1 camera top-right, 1 fiting the background, 1 hair light.

QUOTE(sioe @ Jun 23 2012, 05:45 PM) Guys, i just finished toying around with my 2 units of fl36r and I must say, olympus has seriously got to review their Lighting methods! In order for the 2 flash units to go into RC Mode, the OMD mini flash must b hooked onto the camera. meaning, i cant attach one FL36R onto the OMD and then use it and also trigger the other FL36R unit remotely. =( The 2 units must be detached from the camera, set in RC mode and then with the mini OMD Flash, they r triggered when the mini flash fires. Indirectly, the flashes are using the light from the FL36R as a trigger mechanism. =/ But I dont want to lug the mini flash everywhere i go. I want to do away with it. Anyone have any idea how? really? that sounds bad... so meaning the OM-D flash is the commander and the FL36r can only be a slave? u cannot use the FL36r as commander?
